Just watched the game. Getting rid of any BIAS here, that has to be the worst decision by referee all season, and the irony is that because it was a second yellow VAR couldn't look at it. The ref was <5m away and Smith stood on Boly after Boly played the ball. Ruined the game!

EDIT: Obviously, I am still fuming over it... This decision will lead to the VAR rule being changed for next season, so that a 2nd yellow can also be looked at. If anything, it's a Yellow Card for Smith. Appalling!!

This decision will lead to the VAR rule being changed for next season, so that a 2nd yellow can also be looked at.

VAR should be able to consider second yellows because of the implication, so hopefully you're right.
