Trying to decide this week, whether to bank my trade for Gameweek 4, as Man U play Arsenal. Tough decisions as Chelsea play Luton and would hope to get Jackson, but can't afford him. Would have to burn 4 points to do so, also don't know if Pedro will get game time, and worried about how much Salah has dropped off, therefore 12.5M is a waste, when I can get a whole range of players for less with better value.

Nice team. Joao Pedro may be the biggest issue if he starts on the bench again. Salah is a hold i reckon because his value is such that you can easily jump off him anytime and make a lot of cash. Yes, he isnt scoring near his potential but i would hold until we see a bigger sample size because his value is an asset and if you keep a spare transfer you can make a big move in any week you choose. Unless you see an absolute must have then i would keep him. If he is dropped and his value declines, he could still be a hold as a POD and if he turns form around then everyone that dropped him will be scrambling to get him back. It is a long season and i bet he comes good at some point, although his team isnt playing great at the moment.

All that said, there are many ways to play this game and if you think you can get much greater output by using his value now then all power to you. Personally, id wait to see a slightly bigger sample size but if you are bullish on who you want to transfer in, then go for it!

My team is below. I just used my free transfer to go J.Pedro > Jackson. Not entirely confident in Jackson but their schedule is very favourable for a while from now and Brighton have a tough schedule after this week. Happy to keep Maddison until i hear the severity of his injury. Wissa will come off the bench for him.

My RDT is below. Used 2 trades this round. Missing Estupinan and Mitoma has hurt my side but im not going to get them in because i have faith that Saka, Bruno & Foden will start performing and i am more concerned about my forwards as i have (/had) J.Pedro & Richarlison.

As well, while they generate lots of $ in the short term, i dont think they will be must haves when their schedule becomes tougher. I think that they will continue to post good scores even with their schedule coming up, but im not going to trade out players that i still think are valuable commodities based off 2 weeks of form.

Nice sides in both comps. Excellent FPL side for this gameweek. I agree that players like Fernandes, Foden, etc have to be held on to as they provide L/T gain. I held Salah last year even though his price dropped, then he came back and everyone struggled to get him back in.

Pedro is the only real concern for FPL.

I think I missed the Mitoma and Estupinan boat in DT. Will likely pass.
There's about (at least) $2.5m to make on each, but tough fixtures are coming up, and they'll have to be flipped quickly.
The thing is, I don't really have any targets to flip them to, so will likely have to burn the transfers and bank the cash.

I'll keep my big guns and hope they finally fire, before I catch on fire and burn.
Most of my fillers are doing well and will generate cash, so will focus on them for upgrades.

ATM, Bissouma will likely come in for Szobo. Szobo isn't a problem, but Bissouma is doing better and I need to free up cash.
If Akanji is going to start again, then I'll dump Al-Dhakil for him. Luckily, BUR play at the same time as City so I can see lineups.

129 Haaland.

Happy with the week despite a poor captain score. Congratulations @Dazza on taking over the top mantle. Smashed me in our SCS league H2H, so well deserved!
Nicely done Norwegian Vikings... 3 of the top 4 ranked teams are from this chat - not a bad start to the season!

RDT - 92 (Haaland) Down to 217 to 340

Wasn’t aggressive enough early last season with trades so am considering below to make some cash and set team up moving forward

Salah - Alvarez
Lockyer - Esupian

Will keep Richarlison- Surely he gets a return it 2 with the upcoming TOT schedule!

FPL- 65 (Haaland) Up 1.5 mil to 500k

Already traded Gabriel to Gusto before any price drops.

Leaves me with 3.5 mil to play with when trading out my 3 Brighton assets over next couple of GWs

Trades made were KDB > Rashford.
This week I've done Gabriel > Porro and Mubama > Alvarez

RDT 86 Bruno
Had the score of 6 on the bench from Ahmedhodzic and took a punt on Disasi for -2
Trades made were KDB > Gallagher and Vitinho > Disasi.

This week I've done Lockyer > Estupinan and Richarlison > Alvarez.

Could you go with a Bruno > March then flip back when March peaks??
I don't think March's pts scoring is sustainable. Given he was listed as a MID this season, it automatically made him $1.5m overpriced (when you subtract the extra CS pts and add the pts lost to GC). I think if you feel he can keep this up and he'll be a DT MID, then he is worth getting.
But everything evens out by the end of the season, and given he's shot his load, I think some bad scores are around the corner, so I'll stay away.
His high price tag also makes him one to avoid if you're looking to make cash.

Bruno and Salah will likely lose me cash, but I see them as part of my final DT, so will save transfers. I'll ride them up or they'll bury me early.
I remember last season when we had byes and DGs, how there were quite a few players I wanted to bring in, but couldn't due to limited transfers.
I'll save mine and hopefully can utilise them then by slingshotting players.

With Kane gone and KDB injured, we won't need $150 team value for the DT like we've needed in the past.
I think I have 6 DTers already, and will use the other filler's profits to start going for KDB, Maddison, TAA and Trippier.
I have no idea who my F3, M5 and D4, D5 will be, so they can either be my bench fillers or spots I can use for rotation.

Might burn another boost, I like trading hard early, so I can make some money

Could go

Eze to Bissouma
Pedro to Alvarez
Lockyer to Saliba

Team would look like this if I go through my trades

6 trades would risky after 2 weeks
