Only just thought of it myself but wonder whether Gibcus> Milera is worth a look for 20k more. Milera might not play round 1 but shouldn't be far off (assuming body holds up) and should be a better scorer than Gibcus I'd hope.

Given his history, I think it's really hard to pick him expecting he plays in round 2, if he's there in round 6 then everyone will grab him anyway and you've wasted whoever people take to get there.

Just logged in to RDT for the first time in a few weeks to find that I have 5 injured players, 5 who seem to be no chance, and one who has even retired!

I'll sort that out by game time, but can anyone give me a steer on the key decisions to be made for the Dogs vs Dees game please?

My current draft has:

Macrae VC
Dunkley

That's it. Grundy/Witts in the ruck, so no Gawn. Oliver seems unlikely to get a run with Neale/Rowell/JHF/Daicos +1 more rookie on field. Maybe if I chop Duncan/Dusty/Heeney.

Any other key premos to make a call on, and/or cash cows to consider in this format?

Edit: updated team in next post

That's the risk for sure. That said, unless he came out with a couple of 90 scores, I doubt anyone looks to 'downgrade' to someone at 260k as you won't make any cash.

Seen a few of you boys running Witts over someone like Gawn. Is Witts considered underpriced??
Hi Kennedy - welcome aboard SCS (although I see it’s already been a while for you across a number of other comps!).

I would say Witts is cheap, and could make some cash. He averaged the same as Reilly O’Brien who is 150k more, and Witts has averaged high 80s to 100 each of the last 5 seasons (86 last year). So arguably he’s at a discount even to the lower end of his likely range.

He’s actually the 5th highest averaging ruck from last year, so to me he’s a viable R2 for as long as I need him, as well as someone I can use as a stepping stone to Gawn or an improved Darcy.
