Like many, I have Reddy and JFM on the bench. I will probably just cop that hit as I prepare for these upcoming DGRs.

I might try and put a couple of volatile players on the bench next to them and hope one gets a zero to make at least looping one an option. If one of those players goes off I could play a double loop. Just need to set the team up so that I don’t tie myself in knots navigating the options as the round unfolds.

Rightly or wrongly will continue to back against Jadeja & Klaassen (probably has not worked so far but oh well)

Out : Hardik , Kishan , Rohit

In : Pant + 2 🤔
Decided to bring in Fraser-McGurk & Stubbs

Set up :

Stubbs / Fraser-McGurk
. / Pant
Kuldeep

2/142

Narine (VC) , Russell , Salt , Starc (repay the decision time) in the early game

then Curran

Might bring in all the SRH bowlers for their DGR's 😉

No doubt by the time I get to bring in Abhishek , Head , Klaasen etc the runs will all dry up and they get bowled out for under 100.

Some crazy scores

Same for me, likely to forgo JFM and Reddy’s emergency scores. I brought both in, alongside Klaasen, so I would need to boost to secure another donut, which I don’t think is worth it. If my players average c. 60 (which they largely do at this point) I could be using a boost to get 30 or 37 points, and forgoingan extra 60 from a DGR player later on.

I think I’ll just be happy with the cash gen!

They are certainly testing resolve! However, I also think that this is the last round where we can focus on building bank, grabbing low BEs and setting numbers to navigate the DGR and bye fixture for the run home. Hopefully the potential 187 point loss this round can be made up!

RCB's bowling is so thin that with KKR batting first, I'm giving Russell a reprieve. This feels like his best chance to be in the game in all three facets.

Narine C, Salt, Russell
