Can you wait a week? Teddy/Latrell almost must have options if they miss Origin. AFB with Melbourne and a high BE may be a little cheaper next week.

I'd probably lean towards keeping Marzhew for round 19 coverage. He's lost so much value, just have to hope he gets a try or two.

Think Armstrong is now a sell, but I'll probably lean towards selling next week.
Thanks dravid. Rest of my squad if you want to take a look. I have 22 trades left.. so will listen to any recommendations.

I just thought drinkys about to fall with his 100+ BE (doesn't play two byes) and teddy/CNK will rise. Marzhew vs pahs with a high BE and don't see myself playing before round 19 (bar any injuries)

Just scared due to price changes.. won't be able to make the trade next week. But I don't know.

For what its worth im going Walsh to Teddy this week because surely Edwards play origin and Teddy doesnt. Bit different for me though as Walsh wont play this or next week anyway so even if Teddy plays origin i am still 1 game ahead.

Only issue is I have drinky + iro/Garrick as my fullbacks so wanting to make the trade but don't have fullback points coverage if they don't do well

Is teddy still a good pick up regardless of the origin risk?

My biggest recommendation is back your gut. If ultimately you want to sell someone, don't let me stand in your way!

I've got Drinky and I'll probably look to sell him next week, even though he'll probably lose money this week. I'll cop what is hopefully a small loss, for a bit more certainty about who's available next week.

Even with Origin risk, Teddy may only miss 1 more game now (round 16), although there's a risk he doesn't back up.

Can anyone one persuade or dissuade me on going Galvin for Cody Walker? Wont be able to afford it next week so would have to do it this week. He would be me only Rabbit and covers 16 and 19 like Galvin so im pretty interested but havent watched many games to see how he has been going.

Appreciate any thoughts as i will have to make decision tonight beacuse if i dont do trade i will have to play Plath in 5/8 tonight. Thanks

Depends what your appetite for risk is. Go through each scenario in your head and see what would annoy/make you happier more? I plan on bringing him in this week and put the C on him so hopefully if he kills it and makes origin then at least he got me a big C score. On the other hand if you wait a week and he scores crap but doesnt make origin then you have made the right decision. It is a bit easier for me coz im trading him in for a player who isnt playing this or next week anyway (Walsh)

Timbuc2,

That's a rock and a hard place this question.

Here's a recent comment re 'Max Plath' from SC Plus.............

"
Saturday, June 1 - 10:07 pm
All effort in a notable 78-minute performance at Kayo stadium on Saturday night. 55+ in base stats. Owners who have held this far into the season will reap instant rewards. He remains a hold heading into round 14 with the Dolphins on a bye. He offers round 16 and 19 coverage."

He's a bewdy and suits the schedule nicely atm.

'Cody Walker's' last 2x games have been like the Cody of old.....imh

Difference between the two is that 'Cody Walker' can score ridiculously highly................you won't get that from Maxi Plath.............and Cody Walker is, with a good game next, due to jump up $60K !!

Can't hold both ????

FWIW, I've bought 'Cody Walker' in myself this week...............and probably will bring Maxi Plath in next week for Tom Dearden.

Good choosing mate..

I traded out 'Galvin' this week myself for 'Cody Walker'................not so much due to the wrist injury but moreso that he's very unhappy being @ the Tigers..................going by all the recent comments re him.

And not many trades...........lol...........don't start me, I never learn.............gone hard too early again me trading..........lousy bloody lousy 12x trades left me..............I'll never learn lol

cheers AG

Karapani is been brought in for Oates as he is ruled out... he may cover Rd19... but no guarantees could be a good cheapy that becomes a Nuffy

G'day all. I'm a RDT player. I've had Jack Bostock from the start at centre. He's been named on the wing every round since round 1,
but still hasn't been awarded dual ctr/wfb status. I sent the sportsdeck admin a msg asking why. Their reply was "These decisions are made by our stats provider". I asked who their stats provider was so I could contact them, but haven't heard back .
I'm hoping someone here knows.

Hmmn still very much undecided.

Truth be told - I don't think theres a wrong choice at all. Maybe. I think I prefer Teddy
slightly more than CNK due to his upside despite risks of origin. I'm sure I'm able to cover his number in the weeks his off although it'll likely be at a loss in potential points. At 800ish k now is the time to bring in a season keeper as it's still at least affordable.

On the other hand.. CNK is still one of the best picks and much easier to get him in. He can get rid using armstrong which is a better trade out than going talagi.

I definitely feel like with BE, this is the week before drinky falls

I'm guessing it has something to do with RDT having a different CTR,WING,FBK setup to NRL Fantasy and SC
In that he would already be CTR/WING in those formats.
I swear if I don't win overall this year and claim that carton of VB and pack of winnie blues I'll start legal proceedings
to recoup my losses. A sealed pack of durries will be worth thousands in a few years.

Seriously though, does anyone remember when the prize for 1st place was 20k? Its now 1k
2nd place $200. I jagged highest score for the round about 5yrs ago and won $250!
There was 10-15 thousand people playing back then. Now 3200 and half of those are
"wives,kids,grandma's teams etc.
Maybe all that data they collect and sell is more profitable than I thought.
When all is said and done it's still my favorite format by far.
It's like the missus you've been with for 25yrs, generally reliable, totally predictable
but demands more attention whilst offering less and less incentive to even bother.

Could be that RDT copies duel from SC and as you said with the different allocation of FB WFB & Centres that could be the problem... frustrating for you as an owner I know

My gut sucks tho. What's your personal preference between teddy + armstrong/marz and talagi + CNK? I think I'm set on it this week.
