Really tough decision to make today - stay with Bradman Best, running the Origin gauntlet, or reverse that trade and bring in a Gagai or Marzhew instead. Really want Best if he doesn't play Origin. Any thoughts appreciated.

Don’t know how accurate this is but there’s a chance that Best or Gagai could be picked for game 3. Greg is probably your safest trade in option between the 3.

Yeah that is what I am thinking, but to put it simply, I think Best is better than Marzhew. Might be the safest option to go with Marzhew though. Especially given Turbo didn't set the world on fire last night, Best is probably favourite for that NSW centre spot.

I think Best will be picked also. He's been in great form and proved himself worthy in a strong debut last year.
Do you have to trade this week? Is the player you're bringing in staying for the rest of the season?
I'd probably hold Best if you're low on trades. Even missing rnd 19 he should still outscore both Gagai and Marzew by seasons end.

Dragon's have found some of their fire this season. Flanagan is doing a great job and the future looks promising.
Big test today, will they spark up and smoke the chooks motivated by their embarrassing flogging on Anzac Day?
I think they can but not confident they will.

Roosters are just so strong across the board and bench. We'll give Riff a run for the GF
Yeah I feel like its a 3-way contest this year with Melbourne, Penrith & Chooks. Only issue with us is the discipline and will to win against the top sides. We play great and smash teams below us in the ladder but come up short against genuine title contenders losing to Panthers by 6, Storm by 6 and Sharks by 8 earlier in the season. Gotta find that extra something this year if we want to win the premiership and Storm in round 20 at AAMI Park is a good chance to prove our mettle. Will be our best chance to win this year before the rebuild starts and we'll be out of the premiership picture for the next 2-3 seasons.

This is what I did in the end. Not paying off so far - Marshew and Gagai are both killing Best! But yes, hopefully it works long term. I will get to my 13 next week anyway even if Best is picked.

This is why I'm usually very hesitant to give and even more so to take advice regarding trades. I even spent 20 mins looking at the stats of all three ,then comparing scores with and without Ponga. Marzhew had 4 out of 5 of his lowest scores when Ponga was playing,Gagai's defence has been pretty poor at times this season and while still scoring okay before today had a much lower ceiling than Best. It didn't quite go as I expected today but I still think Best is best option over the rest of the season.

Selected Mulitalo over Curran, May, Brailey and Pearce-Paul for my 17th spot. :ROFLMAO:
All out for 1382 before any more updates. Fantastic from captain Tedesco. Trading B Trbojevic for Hynes may have been overkill on the Sharks due to their upcoming bye and restricting the possibility of grabbing Cleary later on. Fielding DeBelin over May and Curran cost 1400 but would not have made a difference in either SCS league with both opponents scoring 1425+.

Yeah relying on stats doesn't always work out, the reason I played B Brailey over Koroisau based on the last 3 scores and matchup difficulty, sat Nikora since I didn't think he'd score a try (he didn't but still went 92) and played Mulitalo over Marzhew 🤢. Scored 1207 before updates but could've been 1300+, didn't have Teddy either. SC can be a humbling game sometimes
