For those in promotion/relegation battles you can go into the SCS group, find the player you are playing and click the + button to see a live update vs your team.
I think I've survived relegation... just :eek:

My 9-10 home and away record in League 2B was only 3 wins off second (!), but also only good enough for 13th place, tipping me into the zone for the relegation playo***. Which got tense as the donuts game flying in those final rounds.

It's been super competitive this year for sure!

Part 1 of the results are below. League results and allocations still to come. I did plan to post these tonight as well, but have had power outages here due to storms.

Inter-league cup final:

As expected this was a close match with both also being in grand finals in League 1 and 2B respectively, both had a lot to play for.

Congrats to @Vicwood on edging out @Snatch for the win.

Promotion and Relegation battles:

There were 12 matches played here. The first four were in between League 1 and 2 - winning sides will be in League 1 for the next season, losing sides in League 2.

@Johnsy44, @LED49, @THCLT and @Zim^zuM will be in League 1, @PressurePoint, @BigRuss, @bluesbrothers and @aleceee will be in League 2.

The remaining matches were for teams in Leagues 2 and 3.

@WindyHillWizard, @frostylane, @Leroy, @jel, @tso, @TigerTime, @Backbone and @Serj will be the teams in League 2, @JY5165, @Tex, @mvdi, @Ntay4, @dicksilverman, @Post Nut Clarity, @Russty_ and @Snowman will be in League 3.

Congrats to all those promoted, and commiserations to those relegated.

More to come most likely tomorrow night.

Promotion and relegation summary:

The tables below show the teams that were in each league in 2024. Teams in red were relegated at the end of the season, teams in green were promoted.

Teams in League 2 and League 3 were randomised into the leagues above so that you don't have to play the same teams year after year. There is no difference between League 2A and 2B, or between 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D except for the name - the number is what determines your league level: the lower the number, the higher quality your league theoretically should be. Not always the case - League 1 was not the best performing league this season as you will see from the league results over the next few posts (it was still a very strong league).

To wrap this up, I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who participated not just this year, but over the last three seasons that I have run these leagues. No matter what league you looked at, I always found them to be competitive right throughout the season, and always got some enjoyment of seeing people excited when they did well.

I admit, I have not been as active as I'd like to be in updating these topics, and this is entirely due to not having the time to do so, rather than not wanting to. Unfortunately, I don't see this improving any time soon, and I don't have the capacity to keep running these leagues as I'd like to. It is highly unlikely that I will be running these leagues in 2025, however I hope I have set everything up so that someone else who may have a bit more time on their hands can easily pick up and run with (and probably improve on - I'm sure there's ways to improve things). I'd love to see these leagues continue, as I think there's definitely enough interest in the community here to keep these leagues going, however if they don't, thanks for your support over the last few years, and I hope you enjoyed them.

Absolutely loved your efforts over the past 12 months. I don't believe I would be the only one saying that these leagues have been an asset to SCS.
I would love to see them continue on into the future but also don't have the time to commit as much as @Ironhawk has but I would happily run the league I am in and help out with the promotion/relegation battles. If we could get one volunteer per league then I can't see why this couldn't continue on for many years to come

@Ironhawk thanks for all that you have done!!!

Certainly, if you lack the time to keep managing these Leagues, it's best not to overburden yourself. Real life already presents ample pressure, so there's no need to add more.
