Chapman on the wing in pre-season, will return via WAFL first. Worner is 188cm, compared to Draper 197cm, don’t think fighting for same role.
Correcting myself here (well, partly  ) - Longmuir said in his press conference today, that Chapman will play defence in his WAFL limited minutes, due to all the injuries they've had in defence this season.

Still personally have the upmost confidence that Draper is the second key defender in the team (behind Pearce) but if Chapman gets going in the WAFL, can at least provide some depth if needed behind Pearce/Draper.

Expecting it to be;

OUT: Moyle, Casboult, Long, Atkins
IN: Witts, Read, Graham, Clohesy

Ellis probably the next to be squeezed out if Humphrey is fit.
With Luko moving to the backline last week, that pushed Swallow out to a wing.

Could be a lot of changes at GC this week.

I think Witts for Moyle, Read for Casboult, Humphrey for Long, Graham for Atkins & Clohesy for Sexton/Swallow/Fiorini/Ellis.

Basically, one of Sexton/Swallow plays defence this week, if it's Swallow, Sexton will be dropped.
If it's Sexton, then one of Swallow/Fiorini/Ellis (likely Ellis?) is dropped for Clohesy.

See how those predictions go!

Just on Draper :-

Second-year defender Josh Draper and captain Alex Pearce look set to be given roles on Carlton spearheads Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay in what looms as a game-defining battle between offence and defence.

The dual Coleman medallists loom large after combining for nine goals against North Melbourne last week.

But the Dockers appear likely to back in their defensive duo, freeing up Luke Ryan to continue intercepting.

In 10 minutes of 18 vs. 18 match simulation to round out Wednesday’s main training, Fremantle’s structure indicated that Pearce will sit on the deepest of the pair, which has typically been McKay. Ruckman Max Knobel was Pearce’s opponent at training.

Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir is confident that Draper has what it takes to play on one of the Blues’ big men in what will mark just his third AFL game.

“He (Draper) is in the team to be a key back, and their job is to play on key forwards,” Longmuir said. “We haven’t settled on match-ups or structure or anything yet. But there’s going to be a lot of things we do right up the field that help Pearcey and Drapes and Luke.”

Might tip Carlton if they’re putting a 2nd gamer on McKay or Curnow. Throwing him to the wolves would be an understatement here!
