* slowly attempts to piece the tickets together jigsaw-style as Rozee reenters the playing field *
Why would he re-enter? Damn these clubs are estupid.

Rozzee…back on the bench….limping ….
🤦‍♂️

Well, after a glorious start, stooped to

7/895 Gawn
Steele and Rozee hurt a lot with other monsters from common players that I don't have.

Only Steele last night, was looping Garcia not Wilson! Doh!
Feel a little underwhelmed given I was on the Sweet train all week, until the final hour, then I said I need more data! :)
Still 3 boosts in hand so I'll crunch thru them prior to the byes!

If I don’t laugh, I’d cry.

No Gawn, No Green, No N Martin.

Marshall injured early and wasted VC, Rozee injured whilst top scoring at the time, Steele clearly hampered, Garcia on field and a sub-par score from POD NWM.

Daicos did well though and my score includes looping Sweet and Wilson from my bench. So a few positives to smile with gritted teeth about.

Need to own the Gawn to Marshall mistake and reverse it next week. Big waste of money and trades but I can’t stand another week without Gawn in my team.

Only upwards from here.. Right??

I'd made the move last night to flip English out and take Sweet's score off the bench.

But in the morning light I'm probably going to reverse it :D

Reason being I'm sticking to the 'upwards not sideways' rule... I can increase my count of premiums by one if I trade out 3 rookies for Walsh. If I go for the English route I'll have cash for next week but may not be able to use it to upgrade anyway (Rozee injured and Steele looks cooked).

Sweet scored well but he could still revert to scoring 70s and 80s from here - Marshall copped and early knock and was not 100%, Grundy looked pretty awesome against Gawn in R0 as well and look how that turned out! :p

Tempting to try to take Sweet score by trading out Meek, would mean bringing Pink back in def (Graham covering Stewart) and copping a donut (will not cost a trade as effectively swapping Pink for Meek) -- unfortunately system doesn't allow reverse trades that way and need to consider next week.

Sweet looks incredibly athletically built for a 206cm ruckman, however, still have mental scars from running rookie Port ruckman last year who scored well in first two games and then gave up 60's. Really disappointing Darcy didn't get ruck status so those without Jackson have a viable ruck back up.

Next week the E will be on Sweet (1st game) and depending on score could move Meek on then.

Do you take Wilson 88 score over Roberts or Clohessy?
As tempting as it is to just flick Meek and take the score Im not sure it's actually worth a trade for maybe 30 or 40 points, think the percentage play is to hold Meek with more money still to make and loop Sweet first game of the round next week and make a decision then.

An awful week unfolding after a Gawn trade in VC, Howes on field and Daicos.
Zorko 56, Steele 70, Garcia 40, (vomit icon)

Trades: Williams, Massimo and Dempsey for Gawn, Sweet and Garcia.
After having Wilson on field all week, took advice on here to field Garcia :)poop: happens)
Can get Wilson on ground to replace Graham via Reid or Clark
Sweet stuck on bench (with no E lol, but couldn't get his score anyway with Gawn and Xerri on field.)
Probably should've gone with Bigoa or Simpson instead of Sweet as I could never get Sweet score on field anyway, but at least I have him and frees up other trades next week.

I need a big game this arvo with Sheez, Comben, Xerri, Powell, Crouch and Dawson.

The round from hell. Fielding Wilson was great... but almost traded in Sweet over Garcia as I have no proper 2nd ruck but decided to take the bubble boy. Looking forward to having Sweet as my R2 next week. Having Rozee as a POD and getting injured hurts just as bad as I had a plan to turn him into two premos and didn't stick with it. So am well behind the Gawn/Green owners and will already be falling behind with the Rozee injury.

Sometimes you have to forfeit a few points for the bigger picture.

Steele is a problem, he clearly has an injured knee. Bevause of who he is he will never use injury as an excuse and play through it. He was hard to watch last year and now it’s happening again. Don’t know whether to trade in case he comes good, not the time of year to be sidewaysing premiums
You said it yourself. This period is about getting rookies off field.

Is he a premium though? Last season averaged 95 in this situation. This is arguably worse than a soft tissue as its likely he will play through this.

He could be your avenue to Butters or another of the big dogs.

I'm not sure if you jump if its this week or next. Depends on who you are possibly bringing in. Maybe you give Steele another week vs North.

Anyone have any idea of the likelihood of Garcia being the sub or potentially getting subbed for the Bulldogs this afternoon? Ideally I'd be waiting on final teams but need the cash for Walsh earlier.

If he is named as sub, you could switch to C Simpson. Fwd/mid rookie for approx $8k less and the dual position status could come in handy in the following rounds.

I think there is enough in his price to trade.
