I was erring on using my last boost to go Steele to Moore (or maybe Dale).

With new recruit Green going down, I’m now thinking maybe I should hold?

I don’t have much cash, and with the boosts gone I would be constrained to one up one down until the byes … and that’s assuming downgrade targets are available.

Feels like maybe I should retain a bit more flexibility?

Darcy or Massimo out for Bont? Both currently on bench so purely a breakeven impact with the other one likely to go out next week anyway

Have done Grundy/Sharp to Sweet/Merrett.

Sweet not to be a keeper, reassess at Soldos return and/or Port Adelaides bye.

Side needs to keep generating cash to complete upgrades and was going to trade out Cadman to Rarcia/Rogers, had myself set on Rarcia despite Bevo with his lower BE and price.

However when teams were named and Pink came back into the NM team have decided that my only (with the exception of Livingstone) non player is Sexton so he can go.

Was still set on Rarcia but revisiting this thread has me thinking Rogers might be better.

Don't really think there's a lot in it so will probably still take Rarcia unless there is a storm of negativity here.
No storm of negativity.

Going to the supercoach site to make the trade now.

I think the equation differs somewhat if you shelled out $620k+ for Steele versus taking him at $530k. I imagine there will be a few who grabbed him in Rd 6 when he was averaging 130 who would be suffering significant buyer's regret and now want to mitigate ASAP by taking a $23k loss and moving to an uninjured premium. Those who spent $530k at least have a week to get some more data before they commit. If he manages to tackle his way to 115 or so he's probably a hold for now.

And then reversed the trade to get Wilson's score off the bench.

Sexton better not be a late in now🤫

Decided to skip on Green for now. I want to keep a bit of flexibility in trades with rookies in mind. Jones playing the same game will dictate if I need the rookies this round
Bigoa > Garcia
Dempsey > Sweet
Massimo > Dunkley

$396,400 ITB to start picking off Ryan, Stewart and English R10/11. I'll grab a cheap Oliver and Jones next round.

Need to make a choice on my last trade this week.

1. Sam Darcy > Moore (play Kai Lohmann on field)
2. Lohmann > Garcia (play Darcy & Garcia on field)

Option 2 releases quite a bit of funds for upgrades next week but option 1 should give better points this week.
Thoughts?

I’d go option 2. A better upgrade will get you more points over the season that you’d get from the better points this week option.

Ahhh this didn’t age well. Hopefully next week’s upgrade helps you close that gap Moore put on Garcia!
Yep looking like Kai + Moore was the play this week.
Garcia didn't do too badly in the end but looks like I may have to revert to Moore anyway next week, for $40k extra :ROFLMAO:

Boring trades for me this week. Taking a hit this round and doing a double downgrade. (Ran out of boosts 🤣) Originally was going Dale but it would have completed my defence but I wanted to leave a spot open for Stewart/Ryan.

OUT: Campbell & Sharp
IN: Sweet & Rogers

333k ITB.
Boring trades ended up being quite interesting. Ended up doing:

OUT: Sharp & Darcy
IN: Sweet & Dale

Thus keeping Campbell and was forced to field him. Did this so I could afford 2 premo mids in next week.

Equation ended up being:
Old trades
Darcy (49) + Clohesy
Vs

New trades
Dale (116) + Campbell (27) = 143

Clohesy under 94 is a win. Clohesy failing first qtr looks a huge win atm.
