Have faded Bont all season and talked myself out of trading him in this week for value. Next round, may have to just bite the bullet this round, otherwise he'll escalate in price again.
I only brought him in this week, thought I was the only one without him, but guess not. Traded out Sheezel for him, which seems like a good move - not a fan of his role change.

Traded Darcy out too, which was not a good move.

Serong 150
Heeney 118 :)
Ryan 111 🗑️
Grundy 102
Jackson 89 :(
Houston 89
Roberts 47

Serong massive early. Faded out of the game in the second half but he rode scaling home. Heeney good as usual. Ryan had very little impact in the first 3 quarters. Weren’t looking for him as much, Sydney shut him down well. Also didn’t get many chances to take a kick in. A generational garbage time last quarter gave him a solid score. Almost doubled his 3QT score in a blowout. Grundy looked good for most of the game but was quiet late, take the ton and move on.

Jackson underwhelming as the number 1 ruck. I understand Grundy isn’t the easiest matchup but he needs to be doing more. Another poor score for Houston. Will be cheap in a few weeks for non-owners to pounce on. Roberts rubbish and regretting my decision to hold. Traded Comben instead. Wanted Roberts’ points on field over what would have been Darcy if I traded, and take a small $ hit. Going to lose ~25k now and lose points on Darcy. Also should’ve looped him with Brown.

Steele 122 :)
Green 116 :)
Flanders 108
Clohesy 105
Dale 103
McKercher 91 :)
Wilson E 90 :D
Sheezel 86
Moore 76

Daicos C, Dunkley, Rankine, and Reid tomorrow.

Steele good. Easy matchup but looked like his knee was fine which is the main thing. Green good too. Was expecting a quieter one today coming off an injury. Flanders solid. Role is just so good. Hard to see him dropping a stinker any time soon. Clohesy awesome on field. Nice to catch one of his big scores on field. Dale ok. Wanted more given the Dogs had almost 2000SC but understand the ball wasn’t in his vicinity a whole lot.

McKercher good on his return to my side. Was expecting a poor score in the tough conditions but still racked them up, partly due to so many kick ins. Happy with the trade in. Wilson big again which will see his price skyrocket. Really starting to find his feet at the level. Sheezel meh. Just not a midfielder yet. They’re so much better off using him at HB. Moore very underwhelming on debut. 27 points in the final 2 and a half quarters.

Very frustrating round with some decisions so far. Traded Comben over Roberts. This meant I fielded Roberts over Darcy losing me 66 points and $. Even keeping Roberts, I should’ve looped with Brown. I didn’t and it cost me 29 points. I had Bont coming in all week. After doing some bye structure work and Butters’ and Roberts’ scores last night, I decided going Dunkley this week and Bont next week is the way to go. Bont was going to be my C, and he scored 135. Only slightly above what I expected and will take it given the Bulldogs dominance, could’ve gone a whole lot worse. Wait and see how Dunkley and new captain Daicos goes before we find out whether that was a fail. Moore trade in with a bad start.

19/2127 In Bont we trust

Good team effort today delivering 12/1403 (Bont).

Lots of sliding doors moments today. Plan was to bring in Zorko this week (for Darcy) and Butters next week (for Meek). However when Meek enhanced his reputation and smashed his break even I realised I wouldn't be able to trade him next week. I also had (Darcy) Jones with the forward E and would have had to take his score with Biggy & Livingstone up there. Decided to bring (Sam) Darcy back (for Zorko) and trade out Biggy for Reville which allowed me to switch Reville to the mid bench and bring Rogers on field and avoid Jones score. Furthermore would definitely had Graham on field over Closehy if he played. Love it when a plan comes together.

Not sure what I am doing next week now with Meek, Darcy & Clohesy all desperate not to leave my team.

11/1109. Serong and Heeney superb, Grundy and Ryan ok, Houston blahh, not impressed with Fyfe and Jackson but am planning on culling 3 rookies next week (2 down and 1 up) so they’ll likely stay a while longer.
I realised I had enough itb to trade Roberts to Sinclair just before the game and thankfully did so.
C on Bont.
20/2185, Thank you for unexpected tons from Darcy, Closehy and nearly by Comben. What a sensational last half by Captain Bont!
HReid and Crouch to play

Don't know why I bother spending time to do my trades on SC, brought in Marshall for this 2 lowest scores and got rid of him before he started scoring again.
At least this round is looking better than last week, might even beat my Lock & Load score. :ROFLMAO:
