So we reach the bye rounds and the distorted ladder that comes with it. The top 3 all take advantage of their game this week to register victories and hold their place. Essendon got top billing this week with @nath_99 registering the victory over the @Toothless Tigers led Tigers. @Under The Dome was next best and got the Doggies the win over the @The Experiment led Dockers. St Kilda beat Sydney with @Markl getting the better of @jaca. The closest game for the week took place between West Coast and Carlton with @GrainFedBeef just outlasting @James4 who represented the Blues for the first time.

I will break with convention tonight and start with the blockbuster bottom of the table clash between Fremantle, represented in every week by @The Experiment, and Gold Coast, represented in every week by @UltraSNORF. After a bruising encounter the bottom of the table Gold Coast got their second win of the year to draw level on points with Freo and give themselves every change of raising a rung or two.
Top scorer this week was @Deeman1 who led his Demons to the victory over the @MC's Mix led Collingwood. Next best was @OVERKILL who helped Port Adelaide defeat Geelong represented by @deluucs. All is not lost for the Saints in this comp as @Alex_26 leads them to the win over the @Juzzo led Crows and move up to 5th on the ladder. The only result this week to go the same way as the AFL game was the Sydney v Hawthorn game where @Tamuhawk gave the Hawks the victory over @wogitalia.
Other reps this week were @Mudflap, @lavenderbandit, @Spifflicator and @Toothless Tigers.

A clean sweep for the away teams this week and couple of thrillers with @Spiny Norman given the Power a 9 point win over the luckless @UltraSNORF led Suns; and @IDIG led his Bombers pack to the top of the ladder with a 10 point victory over the galant @Goodie's Guns led Hawks. @Professor was the highest scorer for the week giving the Blues the win over GWS represented by @Spifflicator. Brisbane got over North Melbourne with @dicksilverman outscoring @THCLT. Finally the Western Bulldogs beat Geelong thanks to @Stringer (appropriate this week) getting the better of @Cookie2711.

I will start at the top this week with @Hot Shame absolutely crushing to score 2613 points, placing 32nd for the week and top of the SCS Group but more importantly leading the Mighty Roos to a convincing victory over @UltraSNORF led Suns. Second billing went to the ladder leading Bombers who were led for the first time this year by @Wheedus who outlasted the Demons gallantly let by @Ricky Bobby (who I am told is not a thinker but a driver). The thriller of the week was West Coast v Western Bulldogs clash where @GrainFedBeef just got over the first time dog's rep @warewolves by 6 points.

I will break with convention this week and start with the Gold Coast Suns and @UltraSNORF who followed the lead of his onfield brethryn to roll the (once mighty) Tigers (represented by @Seymour Skinner) and move off the bottom of the ladder. Top scorer for this week was @Stormzy and Collingwood who's 2646 was only just enough to defeat the @Bones led Saints who scored a none too shabby 2601. Equal second ranked for the round was Brisbane where @McLovin who only just outlasted the @Blaze led Adelaide by just 5 points. That wasn't the closest game though with this honour going to the Geelong v Essendon game where @froffershanners (Ess) got over @deluucs (Geel) by just 4 points. I am dutybound to acknowledge to score provided by @Hawk41 who scored equal 2nd best and help his Hawks defeat Port Adelaide and @Spiny Norman.

@Bontempele of the North variety absolutely killed it this week recording a massive 2805 points to top the group and make light work of the @GrainFedBeef led Eagles (who actually ranked 3rd for the week). It was really daylight second with @Creeker scoring 2686 to give his Bombers the victory over the @Juzzo led Crows. A couple of thrillers this week with the Lions just getting over the Saint by 9 points thanks to @dicksilverman getting over @Bones; Port Adelaide and @OVERKILL defeated The Demons and @Ricky Bobby by just 13 points. Finally The Snorf (@UltraSNORF) keeps the Gold Coast hot streak alive (both on and off the field) by defeating GWS and @Spifflicator.
