I think the points was a bit stiff against POJ lol

Jumped @ $13 and only gets 6 points, and somehow the $4.40 second fav ($1.9 to place, pays 2.5 points to place) 🥲

4x MBS’s SP & was only double his Win points 😩
I was going to pick POJ myself originally, but thought Alligator Blood was a better chance of at least running a place in a 7 horse field where 3 horses were clearly favoured based on the odds (I picked the 3rd favourite based on that). Bit of a quirk in the points scoring that sometimes the points don't match with the odds.
5 of us found her!!!
It's not like she was in the top in the betting!!!!
I had a little something on her. ;)
Only 4 did. Well done on the selection too.

I'm just glad to finally get a win! Everyone on the board today at least with Professor getting a 3rd.

My whole strategy has been trying to find these anomalies and exploiting them.

Thanks for running this @Ironhawk. For me it went from just having a crack at day 1 to something I became very engaged in. Obviously a bit of success along the way helps that but in the end surging to lead at the clock tower was a mistake and made me very vulnerable to an old stayer.

Well done to @Rowsus on winning our competition, and thank you very much to everyone else for participating. It was quite competitive all around, with the winner not being clear until right at the end. I hope you all enjoyed it.

Thanks also to those who helped out with updating results when I was unavailable, in particular @Rowsus, @THCLT and @Beg2Differ. This was much appreciated.

I am not sure if I will run this again next year, it's not overly time consuming or difficult to run unlike some of my other competitions, but I don't always have a lot of free time on weekends at this time of year. I think there's quite a good format here if anyone does want to take over, and although it is not the same as SC, I found it enjoyable enough. Thanks to all those who provided suggestions which helped improve this.

Thanks for organizing this, @Ironhawk.
An interesting and enjoyable comp.
There were definitely tactics and subtlety in play.
I said at the start you'd need round 1.7/SI to be competitive, I'm not sure, but I think I ended up around 1.89/SI.
A very close and competitive comp!
