Team looks good.
I'm a bit suss on the Perryman and Humphries picks at those prices together in the backline. They really need to go at 100+ to justify them, they sort of need to hit that mark even if you're thinking of using them as stepping stones. Perryman's role as a defensive mid doesn't lend itself to those levels, I'd be thinking more 85 or so.
I have the same issue having Short and Roberts, neither fill me with confidence that they can deliver the numbers that I need to justify in starting them

Considered that, but also understand that having the Flex this year means that by seasons end we need at least 23 premos instead of the usual 22 and still only had 10 million to do it with. Accommodations need to be made somewhere. The backline probably isn’t the place to do it, but time will tell and I like to be a little different. Perryman & Lawson I’m pencilling in as high scoring stepping stones in a similar mould to Peatling & possibly Thilthorpe.

In the cold light of day, I have had to rejig the setup to fit in Mills.
Def - I have selected Mills who is managing mild plantar fasciitis
.Mid - I have decided to omit Peatling, to fit in Merrett.
Ruck - I have gone the Cheaper route, as I think Nankervis and Briggs will start well and increase in value, while being able to look at who is the outstanding performers.
Fwd - I have upgraded Smith to JHF, and with the injury cloud over Ed Richards, I have brought in Sanders.

Thanks for the thoughts. After seeing Baz have minimal CBA's I changed him to Peatling, then he spent time forward more than expected.
Trial game, so coaches will experiment, just think when we look at the GWS number and go, when he wasn't sub and when Cogs was out, he ave 105. Well at Adelaide, there is Laird, Dawson, Racheal, Rankine, Draper, Crouch all rotating through, he is not going to be an 80% CBA guy.
Changed Baz out, as high number of disposals is not usual for wingers in open less defensive pre season games, 44% DE isn't a great sign and his history is a reminder he can turnover the ball. Thoughts on Baz? Feels he needs 70% CBA to go 95-100. Exciting player for Geelong, and he is a FWD for us so hurdle lower.

Rounds 15-24 in his role as part-time midfielder, but regular stoppage player;
CBA average: 38.2%
Disposals average: 28.9
SC average: 106.1
A prime example that you don’t need to be a regular CBA player to find a lot of the footy and score well in SC. You just need to regularly be around stoppages.

A few changes to my squad this week after viewing practice games.
Butters is the big trade out along with W Ashcroft, Peatling, and Parker.
Early byes and round 12 are now looking better to deal with.
Benches look stronger and confident they all should be green lights round 1.
15.4k remaining if Hastie has to be upgraded.
