Fergusson, Hales and Sams all end their DGW on similar score ... proves we shouldn’t get to excited or despondent after the first game!

Awful scoring compared to most here. Picked poorly for both VC and C and only went with 8 DGW players. Still could turn out OK, but not expecting it to.

 

[The Myth]

After a horrific game 1, not having Ferguson, green, cutting or Nair, and having started lynn and khan, have clawed my way back to 3/932 Curran C.

Very similar here, none of those 4 hurt game 1. Only two thunder when I had three majority of the pre-season also hurts.

Swings and roundabouts: my 3 x Thunder players a perfect example.
Khawaja, Ferguson and Green scored 294 in game one and 114 in game two.
Overall of 408 is good but it's a salutary reminder that judging performance on one game is a tad short-sighted.

Ferg should have got the benefit of the doubt there. Looked high to me, just clipped the bails on ball tracking, so he was technically out, but unlucky.

They were big bails on the replay. Hales finally put a professional innings together, still dodgy at the start. What a game when Cummins
can find he will get 3 million for 6 weeks worth. Don't get injured.$500 grand a week and set for life. Buy real-estate like the rest of them,
Hussey owns half of Perth and Ponting has Launceston covered and Hobart too depending on his gambling debts in the casino. Not like the old days when we used to ponder Bill Lawry's decision to race pidgeons.
