Siddle in as a designated death bowler for mine.

Siddle just has to come into consideration with his stellar death bowling numbers. Assuming Maxy makes it in you've got two spinners already (and I'm not sure if there's room for two leggies).

Most sides play 6 & 5 , so trying to keep that theme going.

Rashid , Zampa , Lamichhane , Fawad , Boyce , Pope , Qais probably the stand outs.

Lyon , SOK , Clive , Green etc probably haven't done enough.

Hard to beat Siddle’s form in the 20th ... has taken something like 5/30 from 5 overs.

Arguably need at least two who can bowl at the death though, happy to have both in my top five.

Interestingly a lot of the other better bowlers have been from overseas. Maybe this should be expected (they should be far superior players on average), but it’s less true of the batsmen I think, even though there are plenty of international batsmen selected.

I haven’t seen any of the play, just saw that Cricbuzz had it as run out.

Edit: SC has Inglis on 48, which indicates a run out.

I think we're approaching the point where, if the Thunder end up in the top five, Alex Hales has to come into consideration. He is carrying the batting lineup on his back and has been for the whole back half of the season!

Be interesting if people pick him for the finals , be close to $ 200 k now.

I was a runout - Khawaja dropped the ball down short and lost sight of it but took off anyway, so Inglis swopped and whipped the bails off before Khawaja could make ground.

I was a runout - Khawaja dropped the ball down short and lost sight of it but took off anyway, so Inglis swopped and whipped the bails off before Khawaja could make ground.
