I’m sure plenty of people loaded up on Hurricanes expecting them to win. Who knew taking half the Thunder team was the best plan tonight
I had 2 canes only, Faulkner and Wade on the pine, but had a feeling the Thunder were going to play well and was the pod play. When they batted on this pitch it was a bonus, as the canes couldn't get off to a flyer. Onfield Morris vc, will be my captain via Joe Burns who gives me Khawaja's score. Ferguson, Ross and Sams. 5/426 Morris ?

Geez he gets criticised a lot , but Sams keeps getting wickets , bowls at the right time sure but I think he has a lot more skill than people give him credit for.
Having known him from a young age, he’s always been hard to take down for runs but defending against him is easier as he doesn’t swing it much. It’s why he’ll be a short form specialist for his career.

6/485. Morris, Hales, Sams, Short (VC), Ellis, Faulkner.

Probably not locking in that VC score, go for a Hail Mary selection in the next. Think I'm too far off the pace either way. Looks reasonable at least thanks to late wickets.

Boland , Faulkner , McDermott , Short , Wade here , 3 involved in loops

Khawaja , Morris , Sams , 2 involved in loops

have absolutely no idea how I am travelling or if I have stuffed everything up for tomorrow ?

did you decide Handscomb or Phillippe yet ?

is Watto available Saturday ?
What I wouldn’t give for a Watto loop at the business end of the season.

Thinking of taking the chance on Handscomb because a) everyone will go Philippe b) I always break Philippe c) the minute amount of cash I have left affords me Zampa over NCN

Surely three reasons is enough to pull the trigger?:ROFLMAO:

Just watching on TV he must have a lot of changes of pace and grips etc etc.

Done well in the last 2 seasons since being discarded from the Sixers.

It's a pity guys like him and others don't get the chance to play in other T20 tournaments around the world , 64 go to the IPL but then the same 30-40 then go to England , CPL , BPL , PSL etc

MSL would be a good league for him.

Hopefully the EuroSlam gets off the ground this year.

My reasoning is the MCG is too big for Philippe ?
