Zampa out? Wow, I was thinking of bringing in Hinchliffe as a pod, going by his scoring patterns he's due. With Lamichhane out, Zampa and Hinchliffe should get maximum overs with possibly Maxwell bowling a couple, would leave 10 between Rauf, NCN, Stoinis, Worrell if he plays.
Yeah it’s a bit of a punt and upgrading him to Smith. I figure the masses will be on Zampa at his price point so might as well try and create a POD seeing I’ve already fallen behind this round.

Worth going Abbott to Zampa so I can go Nevill to Phillipe?
Worth flagging that there was an article (probably earlier in this thread!) suggesting that Abbott may not be able to bowl at 100%. Sounded like he was fit enough and bowling well in the nets, but that he may not be able to bowl at or sustain full pace.

3/309 if I take Short's VC. 3 out of my 4 Canes players were on the bench, so no real loss there apart from the opportunity cost.

Now a decision to be made, do I trade Abbot and my BWL donut to Dwarshuis and Hinchcliffe? Or wait until the toss and load up on whoever bats 1st?
Team after the Abbot trade:
Maxwell
Stoinis
Zampa
Rauf
Hinchcliffe

Smith
Philippe
Dwarshuis.

*Edit....Looking at the Sixers batting line up, none of them fill me with any confidence.

I feel like there's more pressure for me to get my picks right here with only 4 slots left than if I had had six like most people here.

Undoubtedly if I pick wrong then a selection I would have made with more slots will go big and I'll lose all the advantage I got last night.

Feel like Zampa vs Smith is going to dictate this match and there's a really strong case to be made for either of them going large. Hadn't considered weather yet though...

I get what you saying
I have 3 loops to decide and they are all borderline for me short for Vc, fergo and ellis.
Any other round I’d take 68 for a vc, and 50+ for a loop but i feel this isn’t quite the point in the bank it should be and I’m not sure why?

Ask yourself the following questions:

1. What was your expectation/benchmark for the VC and bench loops prior to the game...?

2. Are they still within the accepted range or has your expectation/benchmark increased after seeing the scores from that game...?

3. Do you feel that you're behind those teams with Hales/Uz hence the need to search for comparative scores from the 2nd game...?

Thoughts on Lyon? I’ve had him in my team for a few days, but toying with going to Henriques (who always seems to score well when I don’t own him).
Stick with Lyon as I currently have Henriques :p. I could do with a decent score for once.

Honestly, I have no idea - either could score well and both could do badly.

6 / 537. Short VC.
Loop on Fergy. Loop off Wade.
Messed up the Qais loop, had Sutherland on field and Qais on bench. Last minute tinkering and suddenly it was reversed.
(possibly a alcohol effected stuff up.) :)
Maxwell, Stoinis, Rauf, Vince and Philippe to play.
