I wouldn’t be upset with 10 off the last over with zero boundaries. Gotta remember they’re trying to win a game rather than padding SC stats.

Wasn't thinking of SC at all - they weren't getting any boundaries off Rauf there but there were a few 2's which could have been limited to 1's with a bit better field placement.

Would’ve had to pull someone from the off side and then that opens up a gap if they try to play inside out where there would then be very little protection.

Pros and cons to moving players around to stop 2’s but in the last over of a first innings, you’re thinking about limiting the maximum damage. In the scheme of things, two or three 2’s is better than conceding a lucky boundary or two because they’ve created a gap to stop 1-2 runs.

Possible. Luckily he turned into Faulkner and not someone who was sub 20.

Stoinis out is an interesting one. I own him, but wasn’t one of those who risked Short’s vc score in favour of captaining Stoinis. Slight win I would say there.

Oh bloody hell Stoinis - just killed my round score there after taking a chance and putting the C on him just to see another failure due to a horrible, disinterested shot that just wasn't in the offing.

I'll probably lose my league game now too because of that stupid shot (other team has Maxwell).

I just hate this game right now.

Was hoping that would bring Maxwell in, but it’s brought the one man who could ruin my night in Handscomb. Seriously considered him over Philippe and he has a good amount of runs to score.

Whilst I have Stoinis, reasonably happy to see him out given so many took the risk of Cing him over taking Shorts 68.
Small win for those that played it safe.

Abbott has bowled a couple of junk balls, but an early wicket and actually looking threatening. Can only build from here as he gets some more confidence of getting back into his work after the injury layoff.

I thought long and hard about him too as a POD but the question marks on the weather scared me off so stuck with Philippe. EDIT - thankfully!

Maxy doesn’t seem to come in during the power play any more.
