I find it amusing that we have had 2 games scheduled during the last 8 days.... comp could have been all over by now ...

Have changed my team to get the top three from both sides. Basically Zampa to Maddinson.

Zampa is the one I don’t feel great not starting, but hard to forgo a top three bat in a shortened game when we don’t know who will bat first, and Zampa seems unlikely to bowl early/may struggle to grip the ball??

For goodness sake why not just do the bloody bat flip indoors - running on limited time as it is and they want to screw around getting AV setup out on the ground and do interviews and all that crap and then get everyone off just to have the bat flip out on the ground?

Driving home from Melbourne. Just switched Mrs Diabolical into drivers seat so I can check out what’s happening before lockout.

No toss yet, so going to have to lock in team without knowing who might be batting?

Captain choice virtually impossible to call as we have no idea which team will be batting or bowing first.

Will be plenty that will end up with donuts from their captain by the looks depending on the way the bat flips.

Hoping that Sixers bowl first with my captain choice..

This is my exact team, might hedge a bet that Stars bowl first and swap Maxwell for NCN

Late change for my side, Maddinson to NCN via Maxy.

Checked who has batted/bowled early or most in the shortened games for these teams this season. Neither side seems to have changed its batting order much, but NCN has nabbed a few wickets (and pinch hit in another game this year) so I figured I’d make the change to get him in.
