Looking to redeem myself after last rounds series of disasters..

If I do K.Richo & Steketee -> Carey & Hales I still have 122k to spend. Worth grabbing a Siddle/Agar type or grab someone like Philippe? Or aim cheaper and hold cash for another week?

Team is currently (after the 2 trades above).

Inglis (Pfeffer)
Maxwell, Hales, Carey, Short, Wildermuth (Finch, Turner)
J.Richo, Stoinis, Zampa, Fawad, DC (Hatz, Doggett)

Starting bank for the round is 199k so whatever happens I'm gonna make it rain!
This is gonna sound weird when you have that much bank but the thing this team needs more than anything else is a donut. I understand the Finch E play but in order for it to actually do anything you need to be able to get his score off the bench. As it stands you just have to pick four of your players and hope they are your low scorers - if you have a floating donut (L Scott, H Kerr, C Green, etc) you get a look at two extra players. You're effectively playing with 13 instead of 11.

So if you turn, say, Doggett into Green, he can come on on either line to take Finch or Hatz if you like their score, and shift Fawad to the bench. Otherwise your bench might as well all be donuts.

That's actually a really good point. I kept expected I'd just end up with a donut (injury, dropped) but it just never quite worked out.. No harm in riding the cash an extra week (outside the obvious price increases for the players I pass over).
Ironically, if the Gades weren't playing the first round I could have used Richo as a donut (albeit an expensive one).

Edit: I can actually possibly have my cake and eat it too.... if I do the first two trades (Steketee/K.Richo to Carey/Hales).. I can hold my last trade and have the E on Hatz and Finch.. if either dominate I can use the last trade to get Green (trading either Fawad or Doggett and moving a DPP forward), but if they absolutely stink it up I can use the last trade to bring in either Philippe or NCN. Just need to be all over the timings as it'll be tight between the games..

Too late for a donut now considering your cash leftover. Would back your gut in fielding selections this round. If Finch goes massive or you miss out on 10-30 points from Fawad/Hatz/etc, then so be it.

Grabbing a donut in the last round would be a better ploy since you can have 2 matches from your 3 gun players that will be selected this round.

Mediocre score. Won 3 out of 10 leagues. All intentions to bring Carey in, yet went with Swepson instead. No Hales or Carey. Took the C off Jhye.

Positive side was still own Richardson and Cutting did better than I expected.

My expectations could be a little unrealistic but Im waiting for the round when my eleven players exceed.

Apologies if I came across as a tosser with my previous post. Bring on round 12.
Well when you say it like that, you deserve to hate that last round

I’d like some feedback on these trades
Steketee, Spiceman and Burns out with 115k leftover
In comes Carey (because he’s at AO)
Short
Zahir Khan
Short and Zahir both at MCG, could get good points just from bowling for short and a 60 score is on the cards for Zahir

That's true.. hmmm. I reckon I'll try for both.. I have take a look at Finch and Hatz before I need to do the 3rd trade.. if either scores massive I'll take it and create some extra flexibility.. if they don't go large, I'll look to bring in either NCN or Philippe before the Stars game starts.
