Finished 34th overall. My best result ever in my 5th season doing BBL. (Previous was 81st I think)

Being in 7th overall and staying in the top 10 for 2 rounds was a big achievement for me. Also being in the top 100 for 15 rounds since round 3 was another huge achievement. Normally I'd make the top 100 and go straight back out.

Some of my favourite SC moments for the season:
Round 2: Trading in Wildermuth and getting 150+ first up.
Round 8: Trading in Billings over Ferguson during his DGR. Also that same round captaining DC when he went 142! This was the round that skyrocketed me up to 7th overall.

Favourite player for BBL10 was definitely Dan Christian. Owned him in every round except round 16 when Sixers weren't playing. Maxy a close 2nd and D'Arcy Short 3rd despite his roller coaster of a season as he saved me 5 times with great captain scores.

Never agains:
Adam Milne.

Was part of the top 2 leagues overall too. Was also part of SCS Champions league too. Happy that the league I created was in 12th (or 10th of you don't count the mini leagues)

Looking forward to BBL11.

Round 17 Total = 455 (Philippe)
Round 15 Rank = 13,985
Overall Rank = 164 (down 59)

The quest is over, really disappointing end to the season.

You know it's not your night when your C self destructs in that manner.

2nd sign was that hack O'Keeffe dropping Livingstone of Dwarshuis when on 1 (yeah I had all 3, but still lost a bunch of points). Not many shining lights (only Vince on the bench with the E 🤣)

Oh well no point crying over spilt milk, but apologies to those others that I share leagues with for dragging them down.

Well done to all with great rankings :)

I was fortunate to be a member of the Top 4 leagues but did none of the heavy lifting...:)
I did forget to mention my doubles partner who had an indifferent season, finishing 931st, he has provided valuable information to all, especially at the start of the season. I'm sure he'll be back bigger and stronger next season. Thanks for your support Thanh. 😆

I only joined the SCS forum part way through the season, but moved from 1.2K overall to top 150 throughout that time. Learnt a lot from the other coaches here, so thank you all. Hopefully I'll be back for BBL11 to take part in the big leagues here.

Best move I made was taking DC at season's start (in addition to holding Weatherald and Worrall on the bench in round 1).
Worst move was trading in Hughes/SOK back in round 4 and holding both through a disappointing doubles round (they both lost money too).

As for what's next, I've organised an AFL SC Draft league on the forums, so if that's something you would be interested in taking part in, please sign up. Otherwise, I have a Sheffield Shield fantasy team to get back to (comp starts up again in 5 days time). I've not taken part in the salary cap version of AFL SC for a number of seasons, but I am intrigued by Ironhawk's Midprice Madness competition (Draft and Midprice Madness are similar concepts).

Otherwise, it's been terrific and I look forward to doing it all again for BBL11. :)

584 for the rd.
665 Overall. Oh well, on to AFL where I'm loving my picked team. Not touching now till night prior to rd1.

Thanks to everyone who participated on this site. Enjoyed reading all the different opinions out there.

Special mention to @Ironhawk for not giving up. I wasn't in any of the same leagues just appreciate the attitude you have to others and this crazy game.

And I think it was @Woosie dad. Shout out to him as well. I want your dad in my AFL or NRL league now.

Think I enjoy BBL the most for its fast pace and the fact that venues, weather, players comings and goings all have major affects on ones score. Got caught out with the X factor a bit here.

Look forward to the next BBL and any communication over on AFL or NRL threads.

Cheers all 🍻

Thanks scs community for another great season of BBL chat and Help.

Having a group like this to check injury news and final teams etc is a very useful tool to have, I know I almost got caught out with trading Kane Richardson in when he wasn't even picked lucky for the group I seen he was out and quickly removed him.

Not a great season for myself ranked 1,346 in the end after being as high as 16,442....(yuk) I think I got too set on my starting team (Milne, Tye, Usman etc) and not being flexible in removing them hurt in the end. (maybe used all my luck in the IPL season)

If People wanna see the Document return for BBL11 let me know if there is any improvements I can do or if it was helpful.

Shout out to Brice for winning my league. was nice to get 110 players in it.

Bring on AFL season! time to break that 6,000 days since a final win

This was my 3rd season of BBL Supercoach and was a huge improvement from last season.
In the end, I finished around the 3300 the mark which was much better than last seasons 15000th

One of my core issues was my stubbornness, my captain choices and my inability to no be able to look ahead more than two rounds

There were same players this season that I simply would not pick no matter the circumstances
These players included Christian, Sketetee, Ellis, Agar but the worst of all was Labuschange
I need to have a more open mind if I plan to actually break the top 100 mark

I was terrible at picking captains this seasons due to the fact I went off who is due for a big one instead of who is in form
Bad idea

And finally, my inability to not be able to look ahead more than two rounds
I don't mean in terms of DGW because I was fine at that but in terms of price increases from base price players
@Herbie66 tried to teach me how to do it and I was too suborn to which was stupid of me

I just want to thank everyone in this discussion for there input this season whether it was to do with injuries, weather updates, breakevens etc.
I was fantastic to see the community do so well and if they weren't doing so well they would congratulate others on there amazing

I can't wait for another wild season later this year

Now its time to prepare for the AFL season

Haha. Conversation with Dad (81) today

Me: what are you looking for?

Dad(81): the draw

Me: the draw? What draw?

Dad(81): the NRL draw, it's the Courier Mail full page draw, I had started writing on it. I can't find it anywhere and I've got to start picking my team.

😂🤣
Yes, my dad(81) is as crazy as the rest of us. 30 days to go and he's started his team too. 😃

Im just not sure he'd be helpful in getting your league anywhere close to a winning position. But if you don't mind that, always keen. He finished about 7000th in BBL this year.

5 of the top 6 leagues in the recently completed Sportsdeck NFL season.
9 of the top 12 leagues for BBL (9 of the top 10 for 14 member leagues only)
3 of the top 5 leagues for NBA RDT (6 of 24 rounds into the season)

Ideal preparation for an assault on the upcoming AFL season.

Was there any other top 10 finishers in here? If so have you got an email yet regarding the prizes?
Did you receive the normal Round review email this morning ?

I suspect they now need to review everyone in the Top 11 to see their eligibility for $$$.

I guess once that is done they send a email officially notifying you of your prize.
