Mentioned several times in the preseason about RD2 and thought I would bring it up again.

Make sure to have an even spread between batters/bowlers for your DGW players from both the Hurricanes and Strikers to avoid a possible situation in which the majority of your players will only be involved in 1 innings in each match.

Example of the above:
D Short, W Jacks, C Ingram, P Handscomb, R Khan, D Worrall, P Siddle.
4 Hob Batters
3 Adel Bowlers

Preferably you would like:
D Short, J Faulkner, P Handscomb, R Khan, P Salt, P Siddle, M Renshaw/N Ellis, etc
2 Hob Batters
1/2 Hob Bowlers
1/2 Adelaide Batters
2 Adelaide Bowlers

Nielsen tempting at 4 but surely goes down the order by next game with Head and Carey to fit in?
Was keen on him because I can afford to punt Hussein over DC. Could also go Hussein to David

If I trade DC I could bring in Salt or Renshaw

Any thoughts appreciated
Isn't Head in the Test Squad 🤔

worrall vs renshaw

have enough for either

already have khan, siddle and salt
I advised that Worrall is a trap, so it would be remiss of me to say to pick Worrall.

I nearly caved and picked him over Weatherald, but I know from last season, that going against what I’ve said in the past has royally bitten me in the backside.

Dorff to renshaw or Hussain to Worrall? If I kept dorff he would stay on the bench this round
Prefer to keep Behrendorff due to Hussain's upcoming bye. Also, I would like to see if we can continue the below:
wow I have the exact same team so hope you do well!

final trades

OUT: Zampa + maxwell + cartwright

IN: Renshaw + siddle + khan

will be annoyed if khan flops and faulkner or worral go large

can loop christian which is good aslong as pfeffer doesnt play

leaves me with only one canes bowler which scares me

Any help on Wells vs Weatherald
I can’t decide
Weatherald opening is great opportunity to score but I also have Salt, renshaw and Neilson.
Wells is probably better but he bats at 5 which gives him limited opportunity

Hi Champs... Can you pls suggest me 2 picks out of these 3- Salt, Renshaw and Siddle.
My thoughts - I am thinking to go with salt and Renshaw for the below reasons.

Salt - started well in Vitality blast with a quick fire 44, which is worth some 70odd SC points and would have learnt the conditions last season, small grounds, he’s attacking, so strike rate bonus etc.

Renshaw - with 2 lefties - darcy and Ingram, he wight bowl a couple of overs and has a min SC points of 40odd against Hobart, bats in top 3.

Siddle - I’ve seen enough suggestions in this thread to pick him, but doubting that he might underbowl being the skipper and his record isn’t great I guess against Hobart (56 SC points being his highest score) & Hobart has a good batting depth.

Kindly suggest pls.

I'd say target a Strikers bowler instead if you can, owning 4 of their top 5 bats is a bit much.

Ended up going NCN to Siddle, it's such a big chunk of games to be taking any kind of risk on. Frankly $28k is probably the upper bound of the kind of money I was looking to make off him anyway - he was never a long-term proposition for my team.

Remember your Strikers are effectively in a four-game block, so the odds are they'll have one bad day - so don't panic if it's today!

Good luck everyone!
