Looks like 10 of the top 20 owned him (thanks @Tails!), at least last round, so maybe it’s not as bad as I’d thought. Only 7% ownership more broadly.

Cash gen will be a bit less than expected which might force me onto SMarsh next round.... on the bench for me luckily

If he had been kept he wasn't really a trade out option - BE -13, and had scored 96 Rd4.

Reckon Adelaide have missed a trick here. Highly unusual scenario with one ball to the decision point but if you need to bolster your batting, Matt Short is probably the guy in the gun and they shouldn't have sent him out. They probably wouldn't have had time to be ready for it but even if they wanted to send out a Briggs type, who can clearly bat, they could have brought Gibson in behind him.

I’m resigned to benching him almost permanently now. He’s lost too much cash to even be sold.
