Looks good, except don’t forget to put your E on Hughes!

With your bowlers, who is going to sit in your bench in Round 2? Looks like you may need to sit a DGW or higher priced player there. I think you might need to squeeze another “cheapie” in there and see what the money saved can do to strengthen your on field XI for both Rounds 1 & 2 without leaving too much value on the bench.

Bryant averaged 14 with the bat last season. I would definitely worry about playing him on field

Great team. Spending 150k on Phillipe who may not even contribute to your score in round 1 doesn't appeal to me.

Cheers mate, hoping he’s a pod and goes well. Don’t really like the look of the other options besides Carey and maybe Harper, likely others are starved of opportunity and Inglis is too expensive. That may still change but happy to keep him there for now as long as he opens.

I agree, but I think he looks set to loop Bryant with Hughes using Weatherald, so technically not on field yet.

I like the Phillippe pick, and keep trying to find funds to have him in my team. He is a good young cricketer who is still improving. Very good chance of scoring the most points for a keeper over the season, in which case price doesn’t matter if you can focus on trading elsewhere.

That’s what I’m hoping for. Feels risky but everytime I rejig my team with someone else keeping I don’t like it.

I’ll take his score I’m just using Holt as VC loophole. If he spuds up early I’ll address it, probably trade to Carey round 3 if needed. Also might just put him on field if Holt looks like getting a game.
