These comments from the coach make me think they will run 5 frontline bowlers + Short, Neesham and David as the 6th, 7th and 8th options mentioned by the coach.
Is a SHORT in the hand worth 2 scorchers in a game ,He is one of the top players but how do you keep him .Silly of me for all the obvious reasons but I like Turner now and a savings of 50k over Agar. Tye and Jye for sure sure, not so sure with agar NDD
I'm very meh with Agar but Id still want to be running Faf,Tye and Richardson with Inglis carried over at a minimum, hard to see how most people are affording that without trading Short, really don't rate the Turner and Hardie selections, I'd punt on Lyth if forced into a cheaper option, if he can find anything close to his Blast form hes a bargain at 105K (Averaged 57 SC IIRC).
70% of the comp have him and I reckon at least 65% would be on field, it's frustrating but doesnt really matter when push comes to shove, big part of me would be happy to see him rest and not prolong an illness by trying to push through when he's not right, lot more likely to get injured when you're doing very minimal training aswell.

Would be a small percentage that looped him, either sceptical of the pick in general or concerned how a guy would play when they tested positive the morning of the game, could end up a pretty smart decision in hindsight.
Understand they want to take the game to other areas, but fixturing a game in FNQ this time of year boggles the mind, actually doesn't look too bad after this current storm front but they tend to hang around a bit.
I think McSweeney is the closest thing to a direct Renshaw replacement, wouldn't be surprised if hes the one they end up picking myself, coming into the tournament in pretty good form also.
