I'd like to have this sorted by the end of the weekend so I have as much time to test millions of team combinations as everyone else, but I'll extend it as long as I need to to try to at least get an even number going. Here's hoping for 56!

If you're new - don't be shy! It's a great way to enjoy the game, just make sure you don't ghost ship (stop playing mid season) and you'll be fine!

I say this every year, but thank you all for backing the format in - it means a lot that you entrust me with this thing. Long time SCSers will know this idea is actually @Connoisseur 's and not mine, but it was probably the single biggest factor in me going from being a lurker to a regular contributor so that when the opportunity came up, I felt very strongly about keeping it alive.

Speaking of the format, though... I still don't quite know what I want to do this year. The shortened season really makes it difficult to have finals, so it might just be a league table setup. The other idea I'm floating is to sort the pairs into pools at the start and do maybe semis and finals in R8 and R9 - if we have four pools, we can actually have every team involved right into the last round this way by having the equal placed pair in each pool playing for position.

Let me know if you have any ideas - still two weeks to go to get your side in!

Thanks once again @mike89 . The best part of the season is the team releases and eagerly awaiting the duos you have in store for us and @Darkie is spot on.

Results are insignificant and take full advantage of the ability to pick the brain of your partner in terms of any tips or advice or even just casual chat.

There's 56 people signed up for the main SCS group (I would have expected more), maybe you could tag or PM the ones in that group that haven't joined this comp to try and fill the last few spots?

Happy to have you all on board! We're now at 60, so we sure shot past that 56 in a hurry :ROFLMAO:

The ideal number for this format is 64 anyway - I would have made 56 work but it would have been a little more annoying. But this means there is still room for four more!
