Made the same call on Richo, curse of limited information. On balance, at the time you have to make a decision on Scorchers - they've just had a toss at Geelong on a pitch that Maddinson has described as drenched, of course you take the strike bowler. That game then gets called off without him bowling a ball in anger. What else can you do?
Thats why you can do all the research etc but generally the decision that seperate people across the season are luck especially in these shorter seasons with game abandonments and washouts unlike footy. Ill still hopefully do really well as Richo won't hurt me too much cash gen just in terms of scoring in the two rounds so far.

I think that’s probably the way to go.. Some low scores have definitely been o***et by some really good ones in M Short & Hardie so I can’t complain but the 4 scores 25 or less are a bit lacking!
Maybe you need to be adventurous then and Boost 😀

If Zampa is in your Round 3 thinking Stoinis - > Zampa.

Munro , Richardson possibly get you close to QDK & Sutherland for Round 3 (that would give you 4 Renegades for Round 3)

Third trade bring back Stoinis or possibly Steketee.

= 6 players for DGR 3

+ Curran , Hardie , McDermott , Sangha is a solid 10

If you get lucky with both Chaudhary & Connolly playing Round 3 you could nearly bench Payne and both Shorts on the bench with Salzmann.

Salzmann (or Payne) probably has to be your 3rd trade out in Round 3

Couldn’t have gone much better. Looped Sangha and won’t be taking his 25. Hardie, Connolly and McDermott E tomorrow. If Connolly doesn’t play, I’ll have to take the best score out of McDermott and Sangha.
2/662 Short
Hardie 130
Connolly 6

Munro, Sutherland, Zampa, Clarke and JFM tomorrow.

Hardie exceptional. Was close to being traded but held. Wasn’t looking good for him 5 overs into the game, but the Canes fought back well to give him a solid score to chase down. Connolly had to be straight fielded and disappointed. Can’t complain a whole lot, nearly everyone would’ve had to cop at least 1 of Sangha, Connolly or McDermott.

Your team is almost identical to mine. Only difference is Overton vs Curran

My ability to avoid Sangha's score, which is not included in the above, is firmly on McDermott's ability to post a decent score tonight .

Bazley over Overton the only real disappointment so far
McDermott did not come through with the goods so have to take Sangha's score, but at least Hardie (despite no bowling) came through with the goods.

Moved to 2/623 7 Si (MShort)

10 Si left

Sutherland, Curran, Philippe, MShort (*2), DShort, Payne, Bazley, Kuhnemann, Zampa left to play all going well.
