I don't think it's guaranteed that Matty Short and Maxi are full blooded allrounders this year..............they may be mostly 'bat only' contributors this BBL too.................looking at their respective bowling line-ups...................lot to fork out for batters with sometimes an over or two at most??
And, it'll cost you more than 25% of your starting bank this year in the first 2x rounds chasing the best 2x rated players......................geezuz, hard swallow this for me..............and now Maxi's straight legged lol
Like it for the most part, wonder if Bazley is likely to play, if he's there as a nuff to move for DPP then fair enough, I'd consider Tom Rogers from Stars as a free swing in the first game.
Edit: I guess he's a bit more expensive though.
Thinking out loud a bit here and want to see if others believe this will be what each of the Melbourne teams trot out throughout the season. Obviously the renegades have just the 15 players so far so it will likely change with new signings.
Renegades
JFM
Brown
Seifert
Harvey
Evans/Bethell (have paired together as I’m not sure how long each are playing)
Sutherland
Rogers
Zampa
O’Neill
Sandhu
Richardson

Is Rogers even set to open? Obviously he has had the run over last 2 seasons, however he bats at 5 for Victoria in the Marsh and has had a relatively lean run of scores with Harper opening.
