Fortunate to have banked a respectable VC along with trading in Johnson in what looks to be a tricky round.
Decided to use my 1st boost in trading 4 of my 5 Scorchers: Dorf, Connolly, Jhye & Morris to Maxy, Dwarshuis, Johnson & McSweeney.
Backed out of McSweeney after I read that he was listed at #5 and took Owen instead. This gave me enough $$$ to update my trade out of Connolly to Agar who I started hoping for this type of game where he got a complete set in the field (wicket, maiden, max ER, runout & catch)!

I'm averaging 27.5 per SI this round so far, and ended up with only 5 doubles on field. Hopefully that improves a bit tonight, but not counting on it.

Content so far, given I've had my worst start in many years and sitting outside the top 10k.
Had some low scores in Stoinis, Harper, Allen and the Edwards injury but also brought in Johnson for Mcsweeney after seeing the batting order.
9 SI(including C)

9 to go if Scott plays , 10 if Edwards manages to get up for the 2nd game.

Trades were
Short, Richardson, Konstas and Mckenzie to Dwarshius, Meredith, Maxwell and Johnson.

Connolly the only player done. Dropped down to only 7 DGRs for the round with Edwards score excluded as it looks like he could miss next game. Hoping my 3 strikers can all go big tonight as I held them for next round and missed out on Johnson which was like missing out on Sutherland back in round 1.

Round 6 Thunder DGR Jan 6 & 8

Ferguson has been appointed captain of the Desert Vipers , conveniently Rutherford also plays for them.

Their first game of the ILT 20 is January 12

Hopefully the Thunder are clear in their availability
