I suppose one way to look at it, from a non-Short owners point of view is, that if we were offered that Short would score 115 we'd probably have accepted it!

If I knew he was going to bowl 7 or 8 overs across the double, I would have taken anything under 150... As it is he's got most of his points from bowling

All in all, not a terrible night, but Short put a bit of a dampener on it with his batting. Salvaged his price drop slightly with his last delivery, will still be in the 40-50k range though I assume.

Overton great, Thornton solid once again. Liam Scott mooing a little via that last wicket and Renshaw outstanding, somewhat vindicating starting him.

Have one of Rogers/Zampa, Behrendorff, Seifert and Brown to come. Hoping for over 1k, which would be quite an effort with effectively 4 double players on field this round.
