Here's how my team looks before trades.

Current thinking is :
OUT: Webster, Brown, JFM
IN: O Pope, Jhye, Davies

A bit concerned re Jhye and talk that he might be rested during the season ie will he play his double, or would Dorff be a safer option?
Think if hes ever going to get rested its when theres 2 games in 3 days on the road, but their whole attack will at some point with Kelly,Beardman and Jackson on the sidelines.

I just dont like the sacrifices you have to make for Short, requires jumping off good players with a double to come and more money to make, trading in multiple cheap assets with either role or international duty concerns (Bazley,Konstas,Doggett etc.) and fading a guy like Behrendorff who could go massive himself.
This is my biggest issue as well. Having to trade Siefert/Sutherland/Fergus, etc just to get Short and a Perth bowler. Doing my head in!!

Does anyone happen to have a list of the top/bottom BE players for the round? I was planning on checking these today, but my free SC Plus access has already been removed (generous of them). I am assuming the tables that Tails provides in his topic has the same BE's? I can use those if they are (love your work - thank you for your generosity).

Thanks.

Anyone bringing in Chris Lynn? Maybe one for the MShort faders?

Not cheap, but has 3 games at the Adelaide Oval in his next 5, 1 at the Gabba (revenge game) and 1 at Marvel.
I'd Pick any of Weatherald,Allen and Pope over him and they are all cheaper, just has never been in the conversation for me personally

Ouch, that's brutal. I guess Allen could be more use as a donut.
Edit - Opps, did you mean Scorcher's Allen.

I have gone: JFK, Webster and T. Rogers to Short, Connolly and J. Davies.
Pretty new to BBL, is J. Davies likely to keep his spot for next 3 games? Other option is Jack Wood.

I compared the SC Plus Breakevens to the table that Tails provides. They are pretty much bang on with +/-1 differences on some players.

Leaning to skipping on M.Short for this week and holding the boost. Trading him in would mean needing to boost and selecting 2 cheapies from Konstas, Renshaw, J.Davies or Patterson. Comfortable picking Renshaw but with Konstas likely being called up and Davies role change concerns with Hosein in i think i'll stick to 3 trades and hold Seifert for the price rise and rd 4 dgw. Current thoughts are Webster, O'neill & Allen to Dorff, Morris & Renshaw. Gives me 7 dgw this round if Doggett plays both and potentially 10 dgw for each of the next 2 rounds using my boosts. Trading Short in is also sub optimal for my side as it would leave me with only 3 obvious trade outs next week (Scorchers players) and would mean having to trade out a renegades or strikers guy with a rd 4 dgw. Pretty set on boosting next round if i were or werent to boost this round. Alot of high priced targets think i'll be able to afford a few but likely have to skip Maxwell. Picking Short would also force Harper on field this round whereas if i skip i could play Seifert.

Really needed that 60k range for trades, probably have to trade Fergus over Zampa now and go up into that 100K+ bracket.
I'm in the same boat. Renshaw/Patterson/J.Davies could be decent alternatives given they have the RD3 double? I'm probably going to go Renshaw myself (don't need to play him this week).
