Always hate the wording “at least” when it refers to injuries. In AFL, that generally means predict the worst case scenario.

Yeah like I said, it doesn't say too much. The Heat did say he's progressing well, but once again there isn't a real clear timeframe.

Round 9 might be stretching it as they are due to fly to UAE Jan 19 for the training camp before the Sri Lanka series.

Wells possible cheap Bat option depending on what they do when Bethell and Evans leave.

Big chance they drop a batsman given how short they left themselves in the bowling department. Can’t see them entrusting Connolly with 4 overs again.

If not, I’d be finding it hard for them not to drop Morris given they need a win to stay in the top 4.

Ugh the lack of transparency around the availability of these guys is infuriating. If he does play 2 it’ll be another gut punch for the round!

Agar was pretty good at 0-23 off 4. Would take that any day defending 155. Richo bowled 2 overs with fielding restrictions so his 8 an over is probably par considering context of the game.

Yeah, he was economical. I was referring to the lack of wickets from the Perth bowlers in particular & only 8 wickets between the 2 sides for the match.

Don’t actually mind this. Heaps are already copping Konstas 0 as their drop off score. Could be some decent variances in that 11th scorer now.

Seems like everyone has a tale of woe this round. At the moment I'm 2/365 if you take out Konstas duck, I'm hoping with 9 SI's to go that there will be a big improvement in the Scorchers last game as there was with my Renegades players last round.

I am leaning towards this as JFM only averages 8.6 against Perth with a high of 35 and has a BE of 71, even if I can't get Bantons score it saves me from losing more cash with JFM and gives me the WK cover I will need for next round.

Sounds like a well thought out plan to me , especially if you don't want Peirson (possible JS concerns now) or Philippe for DGR 3.

Gives you more flexibility for next round as well.

Just make sure Banton is in the Final XI tonight.
