Hmm Stars bowling second is a worry given they historically don’t take many second inning wickets (as @Rowsus has pointed out a few times with some good stats!).
Might bring in Abbott and chuck the C on Edwards. Although still weighing up Maxi as a trade in. Might flip a coin..

Quite right!
Averaging only 3.3 wkts/innings when bowling second across this season and last season. That's against a competition average of near 6/innings.
I think I'm just going to take a punt on (C) Phillipe. Only other option i have is Stoin but Webster could easily take his 2 overs or so that he normally gets.
Not sure who to captain between Edwards, Dwarsh and Philippe. Think Dwarsh might be the best option bowling first, Edwards probably doesn’t get a bat, and might only bowl 3 overs, and Philippe just has the risk of being a batsman.
I'd go edwards since no bird in the lineup, they will likely want him to bowl 2 in the powerplay and bowl a third around the 10 over mark. always like whoever is bowling first regardless of role. catch is he may not bat though.
Stoin has bowled 2 games in a row, so his overs will naturally go elsewhere this game because their is no rhyme or reason to who bowls at the stars. also has two good scores in a row with the willow, due for a fail
Phillippe the safest floor with some likely keeping points, Maxi the highest upside but high risk. Stoinis could do anything but I just don’t know if the trust factor is there.

Haven't backed my gut nearly enough after a strong start so going Maxy as C. Batting first so will definitely get a hit and surely rolls the arm over tonight.
I think Philippe is less likely to excite you with his score but also less likely to be a crushing disappointment. What is your priority? Getting out of the round with a score between 40-60 or are you chasing 80+ to win a match up? If the former go Philippe, if the later go Max
