Lyon would have to play another 50 tests to catch Warnie. That would take about 4 years barring injury. Doubt that happens.

Back in the 80's, Lillee had a big gap (100+) on the next most wickets for an Aussie. Now it looks likely he'll soon only be 5th highest. They definitely play a lot more cricket now, with T20 and one dayers.

I think it was Mr Cricket who equalled Bradman's 52 Tests in less than 5 years
