Next Shield game is Oct 20-23 (v VIC) then the 2 Australia A games.

Would imagine the Test Squad is announced before the Nov 14 - 17 Shield game (bizarrely it is against SA)

Women's T20 WC semis are interesting, as both England and India missed out - I would have expected both to make it. Australia v South Africa and West Indies v New Zealand. Australia the only unbeaten side in the groups.

South Africa won by 8 wickets unfortunately. West Indies the only previous winner left now (Australia has won 6 of the 8 previous events, England the other).

Been following this pretty closely and I think if NZ win tonight’s game, they will beat South Africa. South Africa had the top order to beat Australia’s bowling lineup, and Australia were weakened heavily at the top of the order with Alyssa Healy’s injury.

Those first 6 overs are pretty crucial on these wickets, and Australia lost their grunt when Healy went down, hence the lower score in the semi. Both NZ and West Indies go quite hard at the beginning of their innings, so it will be good to watch tonight’s game.

Confirmed that the 4 other teams are Hampshire Hawks , Lahore Qalandars , Rangpur Riders & Victoria.
