Coulter-Nile.
Go you good thing.
Really wanted him in World Cup squad but too late getting over injuries.
When he knocked over Kevin Pieterson, game over!!!

Gotta say. What a finish.
Feel sorry for Brett Lee. Great effort to finish off his career in all forms of cricket.
Amazing to have 1 run needed off 3 balls and it is the end of his career at about 37 years of age or whatever he is.
He knocks over two of them to bring it down to last ball and he is on a HAT TRICK. Last ball of his career and it is a final and on a hat trick. Amazing!!!
Then the batsmen as expected failed to hit it over the field with fielders all in inner field. A run out is on the cards and a fielder throws it to Brett Lee's end. Moises Henriques whom is captain tries to be at stumps and take the throw which would have run out the batsman but he fumbles it and all over. Brett Lee arms on knee in same pose as the dramatic Test loss to England all those years back when Freddie Flintoff lent down and gave him a big hearted pat on back and he knew he put his heart and soul into it only to come up short. This game does not mean as much as a Test but given it was Brett Lee's last ever cricket game of any competitive standing you got to feel for him and reminded me of the end to that Test match when he and Kasper did so well as tailend batsmen but missed it by that much...

For those that missed last nights end of match and would love to catch it, just letting you know it is replayed on Channel One HD right now. Scorcners are just in now on replay so first of 20 overs being bowled and the best part to catch is probably last 5 or 6 overs in just over an hours time.
Worth watching Nathan Lyon last over and Brett Lee too.

Certainly 3 years ago I barely took even a passing interest in any form of T20 cricket but in last year and a bit the cricketers have really made it an interesting other format even though it still is not really a game for bowlers. But I must admit Behrendorff, Arafat, Tye and Brett Lee have all showed to me the bowlers can still be valued in this format. The players play it seriously too which never was the case when this format started out.

BBL05 News already...
We are one day out of the BBL|04 season and already we have news about BBL|05. The Melbourne Renegades have started an international search for a new Head Coach after the club announcing that Simon Helmot’s contract will not be renewed for next summer.

Yep BTJ - you got me - and I blame Whitehead... just one run - one measly run and I would have just gotten over you. Well done though BTJ! All good fun!

Ben Stokes continues to rub it in to the ENG selectors, 151 not out off 86 balls for the ENG Lions.

LOL at this comment....

"It's like telling Cristiano Ronaldo to play at right-back."
England greats have SLAMMED selectors for leaving talented all-rounder Ben Stokes out of their World Cup squad.
For good measure, Stokes smashed 151 from 86 balls overnight - including NINE SIXES FROM HIS LAST 14 BALLS.
