It is decision day on Bruno. What are people thinking around here given most of us have him?
He was in almost 50% of teams leading into this round, and over 10% of those have already traded him out.
Very high break even but could feast on Newcastle and make those who traded him look stupid. If he puts in another low score he could make those who held him feel very regretful.
If making the decision to trade, do we chase cash generation or a value blue chip? However we forked out for him to be a season long keeper, so should we just ignore the high BE and carry on with him?
I am still 50/50 in my mind. If I do trade I am leaning towards Grealish rather than chasing cash at this stage.
Thanks for the reminder as I have been preoccupied with the start of the NFL season and have not yet been able to revisit my trade plans. With the news regarding Pereira and no pressing issues up forward it leaves Mbeumo and the Manchester United duo (Fernandes and Pogba) potentially on the chopping block.
If trading, then I would look to target the likes of Cancelo, Lukaku, Antonio and possibly Mount along with the aforementioned Grealish who whether on current form or upcoming fixtures are able to match his output at a discounted price, with the savings then utilised to clear some deadwood or restructure if need be.
I would not be too concerned about having to trade him out and then back in as it is not an issue in this format compared to AFL, given we are able to complete our sides and generate cash far quicker and with more ease.
For those deciding to trade him, make sure to have a plan to bring him back very quickly if it does not eventuate as planned.
