Oh. My. God.

I wanted Max to win but that last sequence was handled disgracefully in my opinion. Masi really just said, bugger the rules, this is all about the show.

That being said, it was remarkable theatre and I will never forget it as long as I live. I guess that was the point.

What a chaotic finish to an intense season.
With that, F1 comes to an end for 2021.

Thanks to everyone for indulging me in playing some fantasy F1, we certainly have some strong team managers on this site.
A shout out to @Wolffy84 for the insights and BE figures which helped those of us new to the F1 game.
We ended up with :
3 teams in the top 10
7 teams top 100
SCS Racing as the 3rd best league

Thanks everyone. Been a great season. Sadly Perez's DNF's in the last two races of the season cost me a top 3 prize, but 4th is a PB so I'm happy. (In addition to finishing 14th overall in the supercars fantasy competition this season.)

I believe this was the first season to move to maximum 3 trades a round and enough trades to average 2 a round. The strategy now appears to be to trade frequently early and try to maximise team value. In past seasons that wasn't always possible.

I reckon we've got more than enough top F1 managers here to be able to have a serious shot at getting at least one manager into the top 10 each season.

Ive only been on this site for a month or so Wolffy but i remember seeing your name every week up the top. You had your team full premo so early. I remember hovering between 7th-12th for about 10 weeks then fell away in the last round. Good luck this year mate

Might be right mate. Every league I've tried joining says its full, even the MotoGP & Supercars say theyre full too & both F1 league codes. Strange

Yeap seems to be a problem with the site. I'm the only team in the league I set up last night. (Also, given we just accumulate points across the season, I'm not sure there is a limit to how many teams you can have in a league?)

I take part in the Supercars one as well, so once they fix this issue, I'll join that league.

Thanks mate. Good luck to you too. I like to focus on cash generation at the start of the season and that played out well. The approach this season could be a little different depending on whether the cars outside of the top 2 teams can make it towards the front.
