I think Mitch Clark given his ability to kick a lot of goals.
But I have both in my starting line up at the moment.

What do people think of Dayne Zorko to bounce back after his year-after-breakout year?¨

Also looking at Matthew Wright.. Possibly breakout year?

Hi Tracey,

Wright has scoring potential but I think he is too high risk for his price. Keep on the watchlist though for the pre season I'd say. The crows will have a hotter competition for spots this year and that will either bring out the best in him or push him out. Grigg, Lyons, Kerridge for starters will all be staking claims - they are younger and arguably all more ability/upside than wright. Personally I think wright is best 22 and will be a fwd who rotates through the mid (maybe competing with porps for a spot). I'd take Grigg over him at a similar price though - that boy is all class

I like both of Clarke and Hogan this year.
Don't like either, but if I was to take one it would be Clarke every day of the week. Don't see hogan pushing more than a 60-70 average (feel the same way about Boyd). Far better options out there.

Hi all,

Just chucking a bit of a curve ball here and thinking outside the box but what about Robin Nahas?

Priced @ 212k and now has a new home at North, will he be in their best 22? Sure he's not SC royalty but has been plagued with the vests at Rich and apparently the 3 main recruits at North will have a role to play (from what i've been reading) and could be a useful cash cow should he get (regular) games....

Thoughts?

I think he should get some games, but with Thomas also up forward, and the pace and impact Nahas could provide, he could be a potential super sub.

No way he'll be a prolific scorer. At least not from round 1.

I think he could be a gold mine if he gets into the 22. Definitely dangerous around goals.
At 212K, he's someone worth taking

Yeah, I have seen Caddy's name mentioned a number of times. He showed great improvement throughout the season last year, which was great to see. I only expect to see him get better again this year. My issue is that at his price he does not make a good cash cow and I don't see him as a keeper. (Can't see him finishing up in the top 6 forwards or the top 8 mids)
However, if you've decided to go the mid priced strategy this year he could be a good pick up. Barring injury he will play most games and should only improve on last years performance.
Good Luck :)

It's that really awkward price isn't it. Where you're kinda paying a bit extra for JS/non-vesting/some midfield time, etc over a Rohan type at $150k less.

It does feel like a bit more mid pricer flavour might be the way to go this year with the change in interchange rule which some believe will mean rookies are less likely to get games. The more I play around with a full GnR structure the more I dislike it because I'm too dependent on rookies getting games so Caddy, Walker, Hunter and co keep making it back into my team.
