Sort of SC related - maybe - or possibly an apple thing - I use macbook 2016 with chrome to look at HS AFL match centre to see live scores. Anyone else with this set up? Reason being, I have gone a whole week without my laptop freezing ... started up the livescores in combination with live game vision through https://www.watchafl.com.au/# again today - it freezes.

Anyone else feel like the minor premiers are under-recognised?
The premiers get $1.2 million for winning the flag. The minor premiers, despite being the best team in the comp over 23 games, get nothing except a token trophy and entry into finals. There is no real difference between finishing or second on the ladder in terms of reward. They should at least have their expenses for finals covered or (ideally) get some sort of financial reward for being the best team during the regular season.

The Perfect9 competition is almost impossible to pick, but I got 5 last round which is the closest I've gotten for this year.
This competition started in 2016 with an initial prize of $25K ($5K increase for every round that it doesn't go off, excluding the MBRs). The prize carry over to the following season (if no winner), so this year starting prize was $125K. Provided it doesn't go off in Rd23, the prize will start at $225K for 2018.
To further incentivise players, I would suggest that they offer a 'mini' prize for someone selecting 8 top scorers at the very least, otherwise I feel that the chances of it going off is probably lower than someone hitting a lotto jackpot (no data to back this up
).

I agree that they should have some sort of achievable weekly prize as the competition is a bit uninteresting without it.

No Clayton Oliver in the squad is an absolute joke especially when midfielders such as Treloar and Scully are in there.

Oliver and Macrae missing from the 40 man squad does my head in, Adams also very stiff I feel, especially given Treloar made it.
I have no problems with Jetta making it, think he full deserves it. He's an extremely good one on one defender.
But yeah, Macrae and Oliver missing is bizarre in my opinion. I had Macrae in the starting 18.
