I only had SC Gold for the first time last year, so I'm not sure how our Teams on the 2014 SC Team Planner works when 2014 SC Opens. This Thursday, do our Teams disappear or are they transferred to the 2014 Team?

I'm guessing they disappear so I should take note of my Team because it resets for 2014?

Sorry if this is confusing...

I cant exactly remember if they cleared or not but my feeling is that they did. So best be safe and take a screen shot or write it down. Hope that helps.

Yeah, pretty sure it all resets each year...

For those who had to get their posts moderated, I think my spam filter issue has now been fixed.

If for some reason anyone receives a message to say their post needs to be moderated then please PM me.

However, there shouldn't be any more of those messages as I think I've resolved the issues.

Well done Adam Goodes.
Crawf still my Aussie of the year though !
I agree. To ride across Australia, raise $1.3m+ for breast cancer research what a top effort. That's after the Adelaide-Melbourne run/walk which raised 500k+ a couple years earlier. To not even get nominated after such extraordinary achievements is crazy. I'm not trying to undermine Goodes' work and achievements but i does seem a little odd to me.

also noticed you cant select an EMG. Will that change prior to round 1 or is there a new rule?

Enjoyed the podcast Dimma." Pick bloody Gary Ablett Junior", ha ha classic!
Cheers mate - always a laugh doing it with those guys. Great value
Great work Dimmawit, amongst the frivolity of your fantastic interview with Jock Reynolds I thought important points were made about Round 1 on-field positioning of Dual Position Players.
This of course assumes that the rookies in the Def and For don't offer as much potential as the rookies available in Mids and therefore keep as many open spots for pure Mids as possible and select DPPs in their lesser scoring position of Def or For.

"..I think I'll be starting as many as those Defensive Mids and Forward Mids that fall into the mix as I can. I don't think it's too important linking them up to start off with, you know who's playing in the early rounds..so you don't need the bench cover in the same way."
"..I think plan to have one or two hang around a little longer and you can trade them into your Mids to try and open up those links.."
"Not so much starting them off in the Mids, pick the guys who get the most points there, but look to bring guys from the other lines into the Mids.."

Possible example could be originally naming L.McDonald (Def/Mid) at home in Defence, with the potential trading out of a Mid rookie at peak ( Dunstan? round 9?), vacating a spot in the Mids bench for McDonald and then buying a Bartel or someone in Defence.
This allows the potential earnings of a Mid rookie ( Dunstan or someone) to take effect rather than starting McDonald in Mids and then having a problematic hack wasting your potential earning capacity in Defence.

I would like some feedback with my thinking and player positioning - regarding to DPP.

Right now I have
Dangerfield
Martin
Franklin
Pavlich
Caddy
Broomhead
Kersten
Garlett

In my forward line.

I am going to listen to DimmaWit's about "I don't think it's too important linking them up to start off with, you know who's playing in the early rounds..so you don't need the bench cover in the same way."

So should I replace Caddy for Lewis Tayler (who is on my midfield bench) and than pick someone else like Aish, O'Rourke or someone else along those lines? Thus having a 4-0-4 structure in my forward line? Or is too exposed?

Line of thinking is correct so L.Taylor in your example would head to Forward line for a Mid rookie (who you believe is going to be better value than Caddy). But let's wait and see who our Mid rookies are going to be in NAB Challenge first and then you've got to decide for yourself between Caddy, Broomhead, Kersten, Garlett OR Aish, O'Rourke or someone else.
OR if indeed you think it better to keep your For/Mid in the Mid as preference, it's going to be your call. Guidelines only Junior Wolf, food for thought, the NAB Challenge will provide the clues.
