You’re officially our man on the inside when it comes to Matt Crouch @quite ironic
Haha thanks guys! Brad Crouch was in my year at high school if that helps too so I'll have inside word on him too.

I was mates with Dom Barry at school and somewhat Jake Neade but the knowledge on their injuries probably won't be helpful haha.

I'm still taking the chance on Crouch, mostly because it gives me enough cash to upgrade NicNat to Grundy. Keeps him as more of a POD when it heals up, so it could work out pretty well.

Little cracks aren't much to worry about. A few years ago I fell off my bike on Grand Final eve and got a little crack near my elbow. Was enough to get a medical certificate for the GF and the NRL GF, so it couldn't have worked out better. I wonder what people thought when they saw me on my way to the GF party. Arm in a sling, but carrying a slab and my guitar to play later. Without that little crack I would've missed the whole thing!

Patton suspected ACL at Giants training today. Shocking news for the budding star.

So shattered for the guy

That's so rough for Patton. Gotta feel for the guy.

Had tipped the Giants to upset the Eagles due to no JJK and Darling but will change to WC now with no Cameron and Patton.

Yeah I was expecting Reid to replace Dunn...

...Doesn't bode well with De Goey, might play alot of KPF now
Yeah that's the thing with this SC game, if the initial direct blow doesn't land you on your butt, the knock-on effect can. Never sigh a sense of relief at avoiding any carnage too soon :cautious:.

Gee, I'm noticing a lot of good players out injured at the moment and with serious injuries. Hope it doesn't continue.

It's a pity M.Crouch isn't captain or playing his 200th or something this week. We could see how his hand is at the toss of the coin and still have enough time to trade him in or not. The half-assed shake with your opponent before the bounce would be cutting a bit fine. It woulda been funny seeing Cotchin trying to crush his hand too.

More injuries unfortunately at saints.

Does Carlisle out with lung injury improve Hurley scoring? Not sure of his role these days, slightly suffering holder.

Bruce out also, pity Battle also injured. Would have been for him.

Just read this, which tallies with what we kind of suspected, "that Adam Simpson admits Nic Naitanui is carrying soreness after a long campaign":

So just a word of caution for those thinking of trading NN in, or if he is R2 and no R3 maybe weigh up the virtue of staying out of the new "No Trades Left Club", thread a little longer.

SYDNEY has confirmed that veteran defender Jarrad McVeigh will miss the next six weeks after being forced into surgery on a broken collarbone.
The bad news has continued with midfielder Dan Hannebery set to be sidelined for three weeks with a strained calf.
Fellow midfielder Kieren Jack is also facing a race against time to be fit for next week's encounter with North Melbourne after suffering a knee injury in a bruising encounter against Geelong on Thursday night.

Is Heeney just the week? If not then a few big losses there...

Kind of justifies my call to trade him to Grundy this round.
I think the punt hasn't worked. He's been getting more TOG but has been too sore to dominate (arguably doing worse than when he was getting 50%TOG).
