I was in a pickle, I had SMitchell locked forward and needed him back in defence with no way to get him there (Constable and Chesser both locked in defence) unless I traded. So I traded, reversed trades and optimised and just like that he's been shuffled back with Constable moved to mids and Drury pushed forward. No idea how this site works this year, it's been so random as there was no way that could've happened but I won't argue.

*oops, wrong thread
This has been possible for a few years. There have been posts previously explaining how to do it.

Could not disagree more

The very fabric of the game has currently turned into a legal interpretation of potential future litigation

Everyone will have their own opinion, but the game is becoming unwatchable as the entire focus is on human interaction and contact

Next the high mark will be outlawed.
Imagine Jezza Howe taking a screamer, his knee inadvertently hits a forwards head and he's concussed

Jezza receives 3 weeks based on outcome.
I actually agree with everything you've said. My point is about the action of a player that could jeopardise another players wellbeing, in this case the long term effects of being concussed.

Situations like Mansell's is utterly ridiculous. However, I do believe that we can tackle without having to sling a player to the ground or going for a bump like De Goey did without any intention of playing the ball.

It's all about protecting the players wellbeing in the future, and these players, whilst being well paid, have a future too, and she protect that too.

As for your analogy re marking, is not even comparable to what is currently going on.

I saw Picket form MEL going for those marks (as an example) ....

- his miss-timing might have saved him ...
- but if he took one of them whilst concussing a player ... lets see how that pans out ... (deliberate / head contact / reckless / avoidable etc) ..

- not like a split second tackling event ...

Also seen the JVR case that was over-turned ...

- absolutely no intent to harm the player ...
- was just going for the ball as he is paid and trained to do ...

Well, honestly if that was to happen, I will go and watch my local lawn bowlers.

I seriously doubt anything would come of that.

Lol ... I totally agree and am already exploring other sports to follow live instead ...

- hard to fathom how Gill and Co could do so much damage to the game in like 5 odd years ..

Supercoach is so complicated! What's the chance of Sicily getting off for tackling!? I think I'm trading to Sinclair. It helps me get oliver back in my side unless he has another splinter injury.
Next to no chance of Sicily not receiving a suspension.

When did Oliver get a splinter injury?

Port soar to 11 straight wins and top spot!
AFL: Port Adelaide have surged to the top spot with their eleventh straight win, proving too strong for the Premiers Geelong.

Geelong skipper Patrick Dangerfield was taken to hospital after copping a heavy knock during the Cats’ 38-point loss to Port Adelaide on Thursday night.
The 33-year-old played out the rest of the game after suffering a blow to his lower back/hip region in a collision with Dan Houston in the second quarter.

But the club confirmed late Thursday night that he had been taken to hospital “as a precaution for further assessment”.
The ABC reports Dangerfield was taken in an ambulance.
Coach Chris Scott was unable to shed much light on Dangerfield’s injury.
“He got that knock and he just progressively seized up more and more to the point where, he’s a warrior, but it looked to us like he couldn’t move,” Scott said.

“He said that he wanted to keep trying, but it was clear he just couldn’t have an impact on the game from pretty early in the second quarter.
“Our medical staff are brilliant and they will be providing the best care possible.

“I could say that it’s a back spasm or something like that, but the honest answer is ‘I don’t know’.”
Dangerfield was playing his first game back after a hamstring injury suffered against old side Adelaide at GMHBA Stadium in Round 8.
Tanner Bruhn was also a casualty on a tough night for the Cats, with the young midfielder subbed out of the game after half-time with a shoulder injury.
It continued a worrying trend for the reigning premiers, who slipped to a 6-7 record after conceding seven unanswered goals in the third quarter.
“The pattern has been ‘get a couple back, lose a couple’,” Scott said.
“It’s not an excuse, but there is a really strong correlation around the competition at the moment that teams who have good availability and good cohesion (are winning).
“We were case in point last year, we were going ok and we found a way to win some games and when we got them all back and they played together week after week we hit our straps.
“We’re optimistic that can happen again.”

The Cats conceded over 100 points against Port, the fifth time that’s happened in 13 games this season, compared to last year when it happened just once.
“I think if you go back and compare us to us at our best there are a whole range of reasons (why) and most of them revolve around a lack of cohesion and personnel we’ve had,” Scott said.
“Even the guys that we brought back, we didn’t expect them to be at their best straight away after missing so much footy.
“Even when we have got guys back they go and get injured again.
“That’s been the pattern a little bit for us.
If you look at the outcome, we’re just getting scored against when the ball goes inside our defensive 50, which is traditionally something we’ve been good at.
“But it’s clearly an area we need to improve.

I love our media reporting.

"Rushed to hospital" (hours after the incident given he played out the game).
I think I'm listening to too much media and it's doing my head in. I recently found the SEN App and find myself when working from home having it on from 7am to 7pm nearly. Not sure waking to Kane Cornes and ending the day with Kane Cornes is good for my sanity.
