I could be wrong, but I seem to remember, when Mattel were shown the first scripts/storyboards for Barbie, they said "No way!!!!".
Now, they want to turn it into the next MCU!
I have foxtel and don't really watch movies per say ...
- but at the end of each month I chew through the remaining bandwidth on "series"
- not listed are the ones I couldn't get through one episode ...
In the last year I have gone through:
- Wentworth (series is over)
- House of Dragons
- The Last of us (don't really like)
- The Watchman
- The North Waters (series is over)
- Mare of East Town (series is over)
- Chernobyl (series is over)
- Strike Back (series is over)
- We Own this City (series is over)
- Vigil (series is over)
Tell you what, with all the hoohah about A.I these days, an old 1970 movie was pretty on point about what could be, along the lines of Terminator 2 and the like.....worth checking out, pretty well made for the time.
Colossus: The Forbin Project
I recently re-visited the past by watching all the Planet of the Apes Movies in year of production order and it helped me to relate to how they fit together with the more modern versions of the movies since the Mark Wahlberg first remake...(Planet of the Apes)
I didn't even remember Ceasar from the first time I saw the original movies in the 70's when I was a kid but the old flicks definitely relate to the more modern depiction of Ceasar's story and how he was the instigator of the changing of the Ape's future.
