OUT McVeigh IN Pinder
OUT McDaniel IN Mathiang

I know McVeigh on the double but i like Pinder better

8 x DGR plus Sobey/Bannan
R9 = 9 X DGR plus Pinder
R10 = Max 6 X DGR

Scored 204 - left points on the table starting Ili over Sobey and no Cotton.

Ili > Armstrong
Robinson > Crawford. May opt for Miller but leaning Crawford. Just a better draw match-up wise for next 4 rounds and doesn’t have the ghost of Armstrong over his shoulder. Will make a decision between McCall / Miller next week.

Leaves team looking like
Lamb, Doolittle (Bannan, Klintman)
Waardenburg (Sarr)
PJC, Crawford / Miller (Armstrong, Sobey)

Centre is basically a wasteland - think I’m just plunking Waardenburg there onfield for the foreseeable future until Sauce’s DGR.

Sarr will go next week to Bolden and Doolittle to McCall. Have 173k which should be more then enough to do that.

Then round 10 becomes 2 of Bannan/Sobey/Lamb/PJC to Adams and Hogg

Round 8: 8 DGR + Bannan, Sobey
Round 9: 8 DGR + Crawford / Bolden
Round 10: 7/8 DGR + Whichever 2 of. The above I don’t trade round 10

I am looking at Olbrich/Klimtman --> Armstrong/Mathiang

Lamb, Doolittle (Kuol, Bannan)
Waardenburg (Mathiang)
Cotton, PJC (Miller, Armstrong)

How many Cairns players is too many?

I know they have an outstanding run of DGR's but surely they can't all score well each week.

Round 8 and 9 it's pretty easy to get a very high number of DGR players without over investing in Cairns players. Round 10 is more challenging.

It is a very good question. Round 10 is Cairns and Sydney on the double. I think max 4 cairns and 3 sydney. The issue comes at round 13/14 when cairns have their last double and only two teams have doubles in those rounds

I was thinking that. 2 at the moment but no more than 4 by R10.

Round 10 isn’t easy, but round 13 is horrible. Cairns and Adelaide are the only teams on the double.

I can’t find a fantasy relevant player from adelaide at the moment so unless you have 5 cairns players, you would be fielding some single round players.

It is also the end of cairns great run so if you have 4-5 at that time you will take two rounds to get rid of them all.

I’m just hoping humphries, Wiley or mccarron finally give me a reason to risk them.

219 last week which resulted in a jump from 725th to 630th. Going a different approach to most here and going all out on Cairns.

This week: Sarr+Henshall > Mennenga+Armstrong
Pinder, Lamb / Bannan, Klintman
Waardenburg
/ Mennenga
Cotton, PJC / Kuol, Armstrong

Round 9: Cotton+Pinder > Miller+McCall
McCall, Lamb / Bannan, Klintman
Waardenburg
/ Mennenga
PJC, Miller / Kuol, Armstrong

From here I'll rotate the non-Cairns on-field spots. Round 10 is likely PJC+Lamb > Adams+Hogg. Round 11 is likely Adams+Hogg > Williams+Crawford. With those 2 on a double in round 12 as well, it allows me to jump off Bannan and a Cairns player or 2 Cairns players. Rounds 13 and 14 are doing to be tough to navigate and also round 18 a bit further back.

Early week trades:

Creek & Sarr to Mayan & Pinder.

Lamb, Klintman (Toohey, Mayan)

Pinder (Hunter)

Cotton, PJC (Te Rangi, Flowers)

Can't believe that Flowers stays again but not going to field another guard while I have Cotton & PJC. Creek was on the bench anyway and Mayan on the double with a pretty low BE of 25 should (hopefully) score more and make a little cash.

As long as you have a boost to get them out later it’s a solid strategy. They can’t all go big in one round though

Settled on Robinson > Armstrong and Ili > Crawford
173k ITB for next week to deal with Sarr and potentially Doolittle. Targeting Bolden / McCall and Adams/Hogg the week after.

The decision between Crawford and Doyle came down to the fact that Crawford’s rotation is with the 2nd unit whereas Doyle runs the traditional rotation format.
