Yes Sandi out and a donut for me this week but hopefully only misses this week and is around for the Supercoach finals!!

Climbed to around 1360 in the rankings since going to zero trades - hopefully the rest of my team can pick up the slack this week and I can somehow maintain my ranking!!

So disappointing to go to zero trades so early. Vowed to hold on for dear life this year, couldn't. No luxury trades, no sideways trades, just injuries to premiums of three weeks or more, and Tom Mitchell. Swan the last straw.

Last number of weeks done the ruck dance. Took a couple of donuts, can't now to have any hope for finals.

In that respect, that's all an SC'er can do. Nice to be proactive and not reactive, a way to success in most walks.

Sandi used up my last trade this week. I'd used my last trade during Round 16 last year and managed to climb from about 2k to 672 by the last round, although I did have better bench cover and DPP than this year.

Had to use my last trade. Could not wait another two or three rounds hoping Tommy Mitchell is back soon after hearing he got another sore knee in NEAFL a week ago. So patience run out and Mitchell gone for Harvey. Kept Heath Shaw even though he is not back either.
Now I just hope for good team scores weekly for now on with what I got. Only real cover is Docherty and Bews in backline, Billings in midfield, Cameron forward and one of Ben Brown or Bellchambers for ruck or forward. Bellchambers out means Lachie Henderson essentially my F6 punt like many teams similarly tried with cheap key forward option of Petrie or Cloke a month ago. Very unique looking team since all my injury forced trades meant had to try different routes to get some team together that I hope can post some high weekly scores for the smaller squad value I can muster.
Hopefully can get through another round of US Open. Pity Pavlich and Bartel let me down this round as might have felt more confident of getting through if Bartel got a ton. Borderline now. Captain choices probably be the difference in deciding the winner I suspect.

My coverage with no trades left is Docherty , Billings, Bellchambers , Ben Brown, Jed Bews and Charlie Cameron.

Bellchambers is presently missing for at least another round or two and Heath Shaw I not expecting back next round so I'll need Docherty for sure and please no more injuries. Heath Shaw and Bellchambers is all I can handle right now. Cannot afford any mids to ever rest. I got FWD/RUC link with Charlie Dixon, Bellchambers and Ben Brown and DEF/MID link via loophole agent Jay Hunt. Billings on my mid bench as some type of FWD/MID link. Almost created a DEF/FWD link with Henderson in forward line but decided last trade needed to be used trading Tom Mitchell finally out for Brent Harvey.
$13 K was left in kitty so glad I did not leave much to waste. Still scratching my head to see there is 5 more rounds after this and hoping the cover I got won't be needed. Probably only US Open keeping me interested in my own team. Apart from that my only main interest is just watching the top ten for SC and seeing the movers and shakers that decide whom wins overall.
