Not sure if anyone else here was going to see Metallica on this upcoming tour, But the Australian tour has been cancelled unfortunately.

As a lifelong Metallica fan... What a bummer. And just 20 days before I was to see them for the first time in 6 years.

Have had the pleasure of meeting James Hetfield twice before and he's a ripping bloke... Get well soon James!!

My 2 grandsons went and saw them in Copenhagen in July. Said they were absolutely amazing!

Yeah, I've seen them 5 times in the past, and on two occasions I was even lucky enough to have back stage passes and meet the band. They continue to blow me away each time I have seen them. They really do put on fantastic live shows.

Fair to say that musically they have had a pretty large impact on me... More so than any other artist.

Was really looking forward to seeing them again in the next few weeks, But James getting himself better is the only priority here.

Hopefully they make it back down here in the not too distant future.
