Nathan Krueger $123,900 Tall FWD......any Cats fans got the latest info on how he is tracking this pre-season ? From old reports it seems he was knocking on the seniors door late last season.....i liked what I saw on a short highlights reel.......will the arrival of Jenkins spur him on to make the 22 or debut early on......

Noticed that Williamson was in the best for the Blues in their scratch match against the Pies.

Blues fans, what are his chances of playing round 1 and what do you see him averaging?
Lets hope he can get to Round 1, would be hard to hold him out if no more setbacks.

I think he can average 55-70. Averaged 50 in his first season but seems pretty composed down back at the moment.

Simpson/Doc/Newman all ahead of him, but he could be on the bench and rotate with them through defence, which I assume he will with ~70% TOG.

Might be hard to break into the line-up considering Doc coming back, Simmo, Jones, Weitering, Marchbank and Plowman, then you have SPS earmarked for half back and Newman and Newnes who can play there, but feel could be pushed to a wing. Played great against Collingwood, but touch and go, might be lucky for a spot on my bench. If he does play, I've got no idea what he could average, but hope for an 85 as he's a mature body at 21 that hasn't had body continuity in 2 years.

The Richmond midfielder who could be a “big, big mover” this year
By Andrew Slevison

Richmond’s midfield could bat even deeper in 2020 with the presence of talented youngster Riley Collier-Dawkins.
Tigers coach Damien Hardwick told AFL.com.au this week that the 20-year-old had put on around 7kgs as he eyes a spot in the midfield of the reigning premiers.

Collier-Dawkins has bulked up after his debut season with the club, which saw him impress at VFL level in a premiership year, and his off-season work is creating plenty of excitement.
Melbourne great Garry Lyon expects the no.20 draft pick to slot straight into a prominent midfield position where he could replace departed two-time flag winner Brandon Ellis on a wing.

“Mark my words,” Lyon said on SEN Breakfast.
“You talk about Ellis leaving, this bloke steps in. This kid in the (VFL) finals was just so exciting.
“I don’t know this to be true but if he has grown and he’s 191 (cm) and he’s put 7 kegs (kilos) onto his frame, put Riley Collier-Dawkins down as one of the big, big movers.”

Additionally, Fox Footy’s Tom Morris reported from Richmond’s intra-club scratch match at Punt Road that Collier-Dawkins “looks seriously good”.

AFL Media's Mitch Cleary was also on hand to see the Tigers play and described the Waverley Blues and Oakleigh Chargers product as “prolific in midfield” alongside fellow promising youngster Jack Ross.

Collier-Dawkins will be in action for the Tigers in their Marsh Community Series opener against Collingwood in Wangaratta on Sunday, March 1.
Given how great a couple of the Tiger rookies were last year, well worth watching. Tigers play their rookies unlike some other teams.

Tigs had no real choice last year, were playing their 2nds team for a lot of the 1st half of the year. A fully fir list might have an impact on who get's played.

But RCD ( AKA the circuit breaker) would be the most likely

*Edit....one for @Herbie66

Could possibly play Xerri as a Fwd and keep a FD in the Ruc ? (depending on the strength of the Fed rookies in general)
Certainly opens up a few options and removes the potential headache of taking Gawn from the start if they continue to R1. Still early days and plenty of candidates yet to show their hands, but encouraging showings from both Sweet & Xerri last night.

Still no sure thing that Xerri plays of course. Can see Goldy still playing as sole ruck.

On another note, are you planning to post the Marsh game stats sheets as per the previous couple of years? They were very helpful. Cheers

I've currently got him on my Fwd bench for now (replacing Rankine who was more of a place holder selection for me), but I'm sure it will change. He was playing against another young ruck yet to play a game, would like to see how he does against someone more experienced. Still promising enough.

Made that change this morning.

About 600 short of a 3/5/2/4 structure (counting Smith as a keeper) with a 4 150k+ rookies and the rest of the 'probable' rookies. Had to put Hibberd in the mids as a donut to play.

Feels like a 4 prem mid line might be required

Definitely not recording all stats from the Marsh's games as I can no longer devote the time to it. However, I intend to keep stats of Rookie players so will post a summary up at the end of each week.
