Unable to loop the following 5 and need to narrow it down to 2.

C Taylor
M King
H Bennell
M Pickett
C Serong

Currently have H Bennell and M Pickett onfield (of the aforementioned) joining Rankine, Noble and Simpson as the only rookies this round.

Not necessarily an easy one, but (1) I think Taylor is averaging around 72 ex injury, which Pickett has only beaten once (even last round, when I was hoping for more given better opportunity) and (2) see above re King/Adelaide.

Thanks. So do you think 1 mid and 1 fwd rookie is the better way to go rather than 2 mid rookies?

Eg. M King and M Pickett/H Bennell/C Serong

Without thinking through matchups and the like, my rough order would be:

Bennell (stats don’t support it this year, but he’s easily the best player of the bunch, probably highest ceiling too - but would need decent TOG in an okay role, I might be biased in his favour)
Taylor (good scoring ex injury)
King (decent average and playing Adelaide as a forward, they’re conceding c. 80 points per game)
Serong (decent option but hasn’t shown ceiling yet, think TOG has been an issue)
Pickett (kind of losing faith in him, was hoping he’d bounce back last week with more opportunity but hasn’t shown anything since the resumption ... could burn me with a good score but I probably wouldn’t even mind as it would kick start his cash gen and secure his spot).

Avoiding Taylor due to concerns about delayed concussion or limited TOG. Initially had King onfield until Sturt was traded instead of McInerney, meaning Whitfield can now be moved up forward. Bennell will occupy M7 meaning I will field 1 of Serong/Pickett at M6.

Fair enough re Taylor. Concussion doesn’t seem to have had much of a delayed impact YTD from the examples I can think of (eg B Smith beasted it) but I am definitely of the view that it can do, and the recent sample size is small. May be the prudent move.

With a quarter to go, looks like Townsend on field over Aarts won't have cost me too much in the way of points.
